Does anyone know how much it costs? is it worth it to get insurance for the 4 months then switch to Disneys?
i read somewhere that if u get disneys after the 4months is up, u get the money taken out of your wages every week, wont really leave u with much money. so im jus gonna get the insurance for my full time out there and not bother with disneys x
Ok, i want to get my own insurance here in the UK... and found a great deal on a years insurance. But it just occurred to me, this was a travel insurance plan that was suitable for overseas workers. Would that be ok? Or do you have to have seperate medical insurance? Because that costs a whole lot more! I really can't believe how little information there is on this. EDIT: I searched the site and this was the most helpful for UK'ers! http://www.wdwip.com/smf/index.php?topic=4471.0 It seems travel medical insurance is the desired option, with Backpackers being the best. The STA backpackers insurance seems good. The bronze, silver and gold packages cover you for the same amount but the excess varies from £120 to nil on the gold package which seems worth it to me. Anyway, check out the thread I posted. It's put me at ease a little about what we need and what's covered.
www.insureandgo.co.uk is the insurance i used when working for disney on my programs. I got backpackers silver i think and it covers for both work and travel and disney approved it both times.
I've just seen the "Sicko" movie and that makes me not want to have an American insurance! So I'm definitely going to try and get a traveler insurance or something!
try these, i found these to be the cheapest by far for me and i have been looking for 13 month insurance and that came to £185 and thats with the excess waver. http://www.247travelinsurance.co.uk/
What exactly is an excess waiver? I know it's kind of self explanatory but on the package I was looking at the excess was nil yet when I went to book it further you had to check the 'excess waiver' box and it charged you more???
if you don't get excess waiver then if you make a claim then you will have to pay some of it your self.
Well that's what I thought, but like I said the gold package I was looking at supposedly had no excess charges yet when I went to book it wanted to charge me more for the excess waiver. I guess it's something I should bring up with them or look for a different package!
