So after a friend asked me to get hold of some songs for her from Disney Mania I'm starting to think there are truly some hidden gems of Disney songs out there. So many singers have covered Disney songs and there are endless different CDs outside the Disney Mania releases. If you have any to share with your fellow Disney fans let us know! For me my first recommendations are... Elliott Yamin - Can You Feel The Love Tonight (quite possibly the BEST version I have ever heard of this song... such a fantastic voice) Elijah Kelley - He Lives In You (never did I think a song from the Lion King would make me want to go on a really long run or work out haha. If you like R&B you will frickin love this one!) Nikki Blonsky - A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes (another Hairspray star takes on the well known Cinderella song... really pleasant version) These songs are all from Disney Mania 6. My favourite disneymania is quite an old one, it's Jump 5's version of Beauty and the Beast. It's a cheesy pop remix and it's fab. Also Nsync did a version of when you wish upon a star on the first disneymania *swoon*. The Baha Men did a brilliant version of Hakuna Matata.
the bowling for soup version starts very differently to what the song sounds like by the end...if anyoe wants it, pm me and i will send it to you!
I have all 6 and love them...there's a new one coming out called Disney Princess Mania...I really want it!
I saw the Princess one listed on Amazon. It seems a bit of a scam because most of the songs on it have already been released. Boo to Disney!
I dont think this is a disneymania song but i like the Celiene Dion and Pearce someone, not sure of his name, their version of beauty and the beast, it is a lovely arrangment!
ye it is amazing, i have it and i have sang it in that arrangment, it is lovely. That's the guys name, i am hopeless with names.
I swear Disney had some kind of exclusive right to Peabo Bryson in the nineties coz he crops up in a few places. He also sings the pop version of A Whole New World... and I'm sure something else!
he is a very good singer lol. I want another disney mania to come out. i went searching round the shops and no where sold them looks like a internet jobby to me.
I've found a couple in the disney store, but the cds and dvds in there are quite pricey compared to online sites. i really wish i had cast member discount, the power would go right to my head.
i think our disney store had been raided before i got in. there were barely any dvds or cds left. i was thinking about that discount as well. im only taking one suitcase back...another one filled with merchandise and clothes!!!!
i could see me doing that but i am planning on taking two cases, just try and update my baggage allowance!
