hey everyone! okay here's the deal and I really need your advice! I had my f2f interview on the 19th of Feb. so just a few days ago (by the way.. if anyone has questions about the interview.. i'd be happy to help since it's still fresh in my mind ) but anyways.. one of the questions that they asked me was if I had any tattoos. I wasn't going to lie to her so I said that I did. She asked where it was and what it was and how big. I said it's on my back, it's pretty small, and it's a symbol. I said I can easily cover it up with any clothing. My question is.. will this hinder me being excepted? I am really worried that I wont because of that tattoo... even though I can cover it up. At the interview they were pretty redundant about tattoos and how they didn't want any showing.. maybe i'm just being anal about it, but I need some help if anyone knows! thanks so much, and good luck to all of those who don't know if they got it!
No need to worry! There's lots of people working for Disney having tattoos! As long as you can cover it up they're not allowed to discriminate you for that. Disney is an equal opportunity employer. I've even seen princesses where you can see that they normally have piercings in their bellybutton.
i have a question... ive already been accepted to the program and before i had heard back i put a piercing in my face. Now i know that i am not allowed to wear jewelery in the hole while working, but do they mind if theres a small hole there? I have a few freckles that the piercer thought were scars from a hole before, so i imagine if i leave it out long enough it will just look like a freckle. Do you think that they will encourage the hole to grow over or do you think i could put it back in after my shifts and not worry?
You can put it back in after your shifts As I said before, even the people playing the princesses have visible holes for piercings in their belly button.
that makes me ever so happy. I love my lip ring. I have always wanted it but never could because of work, and now it will be healed by the time i get down there. Hurrah!
I have a tattoo on my upper arm, never mentioned it, and no -one said anything. My costume covered it up, so no worries. i also had several piercings in my left ear, right up the top, i just took them out while working, and put them back in when i finished work. Even if you had, just say a tattoo on your foot or ankle, you can just stick a plaster over it and cover it up.
Yeah, hopefully none of the princesses who have their tummy showing like Jasmine or Ariel have a belly piercing though. That wouldn't look too nice on the princesses, a nice hole when they take it out. Certainly not princess like! I have mine done, and it doesn't look very nice when the bar is out! :-X
i know she doesn't have one in the movie or anything and it wouldn't be allowed but i think a belly button ring would suit jasmine
