I was just wondering if they ever put more than one person from the same country in an apartment together...weather it's a 2 person or a 8 person apartment, do they make sure there are never two canadians living together? lol, just wonderin'
not necessarl its just not gaureented ull be with r own. i know 2 english girls and a canadian are in one. 3 irish guys are 2g4. all random x
I know this is OT, but were these 3 Irish guys from the republic of from Northern Ireland? I'm dieing to find out if Irish peeps are accepted into the program! Incidentally, any idea where they were working-if they were republic guys rather than northern guys? KC
Tessa - one nationality can't make up more than 50% of the apartment. I have four ppl in my place and two are Italian, so I can't get anymore Italian housemates. The guys are from Northern Ireland working in the UK Pavilion... There are a couple of girls (maybe more?) from Northern Ireland as well. ~ Jen
I was in a four bedroom eight person apartment to start with and at one point there was 3 British in it. 2 of the girls were English and I'm Scottish so to me that's different but I think the Americans classed us all as British! There was also 2 French girls in it too! So not sure how they work the nationalities. It is fun to have a good mixture though. When I lived with 7 others we had a big dinner party one night and everybody had to cook something from their own country! It was great especially when my Mexican roommate brought out the tequila! And claimed that Mexicans drink it on their lunch hour!!!! ??? She was a great laugh!!! : Laura.
They TRY not to put you together, but sometimes it happens because of what is available. I had two norwegians when I arrived, but they only overlapped by about two months.
I was in an 8 person apartment and there were 2 UK girls already there when I arrived. One was a UK F&Bev girl who had a month left to run on her contract and there was also a fellow UK Merchie who I lived with for 9months of my contract - living and working together, IÂ worried that we might do each others heads in!!! but it worked really well
Is that a certain Miss Dunne you're talking about?? ;D She would never do you're head in! I seem to remember falling asleep on your couch for a while (with a certain Welsh bloke!) after my very last night at Jellyrolls!!! And almost being late for my very last day at work!!! Ahhhhh...............the memories!!!! See you in Louth in less than 3 weeks!!!! Can't wait!!! Laura. (You beat me to getting being a full member!!!! I need to get posting!)
was that really your last Jellyrolls night?? that was a good night hehehe :-X Louth! woohoo I love random places. see you soon!
