I start Dec. 2nd. You sure it is not that day. They normally start on Tuesdays. EDIT: I am in F&B... Guess we will be in the same classes together then. I am slowly meeting more people on that day. What provence are you from? Do you have your plane ticket yet?
LOL. I wanted attractions after watching the video at the interview. But I had already worte it in pen on the sheet to be last. So I just left it. I think to start off F&B would be nice. I will probbly apply again in 2011. Yay, 200 more days for me, and gregory26 and anyone else leaveing December 2nd. Guess 200 could be counted today or tomorrow. My flight leaves early so it is less then 201 days... I am so celebrating.
HA I remember at the interview we all started filling out our sheets with the pens the hotel provided, and I got through a few lines and realised it was BLUE INK! I was like 'on no this is a test! Official Disney ink colour is black!' So there was a mad scramble at our table to find black pens. But I guess it all worked out.
I was the same way but I brought my own expensive lucky pen. It has only been used once and on the application. I was all about "THIS IS A TEST!!"
LOL. Really. I never noticed. I used mine anyway cause I liked it. Guess it is a good thing. My mind was raceing that day I would never have noticed. I wonder how many people didn't notice and wrote in blue. LOL.
Ty Id like to point out I brought Disney world resort pens that saved our butts! lol Only 155 days left for me!
I'm not going yet unforrtunately :-[ but I am from Canada and I was just wondering if you know the exact locations you'll be working in before you go? like which restaurant for f & b or which store for merch...or do they assign that when you get there?
If you are going on the Cultural Rep Program to work in the Canada Pavilion there is only one restaurant and a popcorn cart that also sells wine and beer for F&B. The attraction is the Circle Vision Canada Movie plus Kid Cott and there is only one Merch location as well with and indoor store or an outdoor cart so you pretty much know where you will be working when you are hired for a specific location. If you are applying for the College Program then you will know what you have been hired to do but you will not know your location or your specific park until you arrive. Hope that helps.
Ha ha! I definitely remember that the hotel pens in Toronto were blue. I made sure to test it out on the scrap paper before I wrote anything. I'd bought 5 black pens to bring so that I'd be sure to have one that worked! I'm heading down July 15th, F&B... can't wait to meet you!
