    Hi,
So i've applied to DCL a few days ago and i was just wondering what the process was like and how long the waiting period is.
I applied through Cast a Way through this application, not by e-mail. I was thinking of doing a follow up after a weeks time by e-mail just to get noticed i guess. I've applied with Yummyjobs and completed a CRP Contract at WDW, but i've heard the process is much different for DCL. I've also heard of some people only getting a phone interview and then being hired or having both a phone interview and face to face. Any thoughts on this?
I'm also from Canada.. so i'm not sure if it varies for every country.

    Hi morrs084,
I am Canadian as well and applied through cast-a-way. The first time I applied there was a scheduled face-to-face interview within the next few months so they did a phone interview to see if they wanted to invite you to the f2f. It depends on when there are f2f planned, some people just get hired over the phone and some have to go to the f2f.

I ended up getting hired directly through DCL, but one word of advice for cast-a-way is be very patient. They hire for a lot of cruise companies and they are extremely busy. Eric is a really great guy but it can take him awhile to get back to you. I would just keep sending friendly reminders.

When I did the online application, I had actually forgotten I had applied when I got the e-mail asking if I wanted a phone interview. I filled out the application last December and got an e-mail in April. I think they e-mail you when positions open up.

Hopefully that will help you out a little!
