A much random question i am sure, but i have a rather unflattering fear of Great White Sharks and I witnessed on a Tv documentary that Great White Sharks do swim around Florida's coast! Has anyone already on/previous on the programme seen one???
haha yes well i dont think the ones at sea world are exactly Great Whites haha and yes even the one at Universal still scares me haha
I have done shark dives in the Carrabbean. And its incrediably exciting. I have seen a great white but that was on the coast of Australia. And to be quite honest. In general sharks dont attack humans. WHen they do its cus they are exceptionally hungry or they mistake us for being a seal or something like that. Because we are lying on surf boards with our arms and legs flayling. So they get confused but we aren't something they enjoy eating. OR even tasting. SO I wouldnt' worry about it too much. ALthough I would love to do another shark dive. Hmmm SOmthing to think about. Thanks JP.
oh i know only too well how wonderful said creatures are, especially when your in the red sea in a cage with a diver teasing the evil creatures of darkness, filling my tormented soul (or lack of) with fear of the damn beasts. I hate them and grrr, never will i go in to the sea again. even at typhoon lagoon I get into a state swimming with the little fish grrr
Smile You are sooo cute. LOL. The fishies wont hurt you. smile. But note to self wont be takign you diving. Grin.
It's more Bull Sharks that I am afraid off as I know that they do breed off the coast of Florida and in the Gulf of Mexico. A girl was attacked at Panhandle beach and also at cocoa beach - scary!!! I must say they aren't my favourite animal in the world. I share your 'pain' Lord_Kensington.
ive heard that there are aligators that live in a lake/swampy thing near the commons and its not uncommon for them to jump fences etc and be found in pools etc! is this true? x
I have no idea, but I never saw an alligator while I was there. I did see a few snakes at Vista. And we had a gheko in our apartment. He was cute.
