I'll let everyone in on a secret....I do Typography and Graphic Communication at uni, which I tell everyone is Graphic Design (and for the most part it is!) but, for those of you who don't know, typography is all about fonts.....so this site makes me feel like a right geek!!! haha!!! it's wicked tho...I wish we'd done a project on it...instead of all the boring arsed ones they made us do!! Altho I did write a report about the Information signs in DLP when I was in the first year!! (had to get Disney in there somewhere!!) Ellen xx
i did not know u were a graphic designer....yeah i use typography in some of my illustrations.......but usually its all skee wiff... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D oo i see.well yes always good to get disney in there ;D
i stand by the thought that u have far too much time to find these sites! lol. tis quite good seeing my name in the disney cruise font though Bry
Typography geek that I've become, I find it quite interesting where the fonts are used and which ones I know...I'll probably be hunting all of them down now and naming them for everyone!! I can probably tell you quite a bit about some of them (Thanks to my history of letterforms lectures!!) and I have quite a few of them on my laptop!! (Frutiger is by far the best by the way! ) and damn, I wish I'd known about this site when I was doing my dissertation and writing about some of these typefaces!!! : Ellen xxx
