I guys, im coming over feb 7, and theres a thing i want to see if anyone can answer Myself and some of the other im going with is curious about the tip in the restaurants, how much is it a day or week? And is it personal tips or is it a total that everyone share at the end of the day? And i know that we are supposed to be vaitors in a 6 month time but has anyone became a vaitor earlier? the standard tip is 10%. It varies from state to state, with the max being 15% if you are feeling very generous. If you have worked in a resturant job before, normally you will tip more because you know how horrible it is. However, don't feel TOO sad for your server in Florida, most of them make awesome money because of the volume of customers. If you have a 20.00 food tab, I would leave 3-4 dollars depnding on your budget. Don't forget the fact that you will receive a 20% discount at some resturants because you are a cast member. Hope this helps
Depending on the resturant, that can be very true. Even here in North Carolina, we could make 2-300 at some of the fancier resturants if you had good people skills. That was only on friday and saturday though, so if those guys/girls are making 300 a day, they are doing very well. Cost of living in Florida is very expensive though, so they probably use half of that for bills
its not expensive to live here at all - its really cheap!! We get our rent taken out of our paycheck etc and the rest of the money is ours to do what we like with!! im in the bar and i earn alot of money!!
i'm not sure how the tip pool works at disney. At the resturant where I worked, the waiters had to tip out money to the bar tenders, service assistants, and host stand every night. After you tipped out everyone, you kept the remainder, so on an average night at a slow resturant you were making 60-100 dollars after tip out that you kept for yourself
i would love to work in norway - your restaurant is a character dining, so u have all the princeses there
it works like that in the uk pavillion but were the only one with a bar so i dont know how it works everywhere else??
sounds like a pretty cool set up, I'll have to come throw food at you while you're working Just don't come steal the luggage carts from whatever job i'll have in hospitality!
no they havnt at the mo but there is talk that they may have in the summer when the world cup is on? the bar is hard work - we work long hours, and it gets really really busy, as u can imagine being the only bar in the place, we deal with drunk people etc, but its good fun nd the money is great!!
I hope I get to work with you behind the bar! How many of you are there normally working behind bar at once?
