Curiosity...

Okay... maybe it's that i'm nervous or maybe it's that i'm a little concerned... but if i'm supposed to be leaving September 6th, when should we get our packages?... I know that they said late July early august, BUT that really doesn't leave a lot of time for us to book our flight.

Now I did get an email from Disney saying that it should arrive any day now, but i just want it.... Someone out there in this world... am i alone in this or are there others that feel this way too....

I feel like I need some emotional support... and my friends don't seem to understand...

Hey Erynn!

I don't think you should worry yet about not getting your package! I'm pretty sure once ppl start receiving them the board will be flooded with messages about it.

One advantage of having to book your flight so late is that it will be more expensive and then Disney will have to pay you more for it! So then, when it comes time to book your flight home, book quite early and you can pocket the difference!!

However, I completely agree, it would be nice to get everything sorted soon... Especially since it'll be a tight squeeze if anyone has visa problems!

I can't wait for my package to arrive!!! Unfortunately I'm having it sent to my parents' address so I won't see it until at least 24 Aug anyway

i received the wdw email..
anyway i send out an email to eric and he told me , my packgage was sent last monday !
hope for both of us, we will received our package next week !!!

Hey Everyone...

Well, I didn't receive an e-mail either, but I kinda received my package!!

I just missed the UPS delivery, so they left a note on my door saying that they'll be back on Monday...I guess I'll have to wait ...but at least I know it's on it's way!!

I can't wait to get it...I won't be leaving the house on Monday until it comes!!

I couldn't believe that it's coming by UPS...all these weeks of stalking my mailman are gone down the drain!

I wonder if it would be bad form to call UPS and see if they could swing back around???....I could have milk and cookies out for them, after all ~ it is kinda like waiting for Santa!!

 

loll, i did the same thing.. every morning i am looking at the postman (poor him, i think he's intimited lol)

i think if u call ups, maybe they could swing back or maybe try to know if u could pick up the package.
one of my friend is working at fed ex and when u miss the fed ex guy , people can pick up their packages at a special place where the load the marchandise !!
anyway good luck !! i wish it's the same thing for ups and fed ex !!!!

Hey Chickies!!!!

I BOOKED my flight today. I am leaving Sept 9th, starting Sept 13th... Awww I am so excited yet so nervous.

I talked to Eric as well today. He said that he sent some packages out. Of course he hasnt sent mine yet, as he is still waiting for some packages from Disney he said. So hang in there, they should be here soon. I am sure everyone is harassing him about getting the packages.

I was freaking out about mine, too! It took me 2 weeks and 1 day.... from my interview... exactly hehe

but dont fret, it will be coming I'm leaving aug 24th, and I cant wait to see everyone there!

well, this is gonna blow... mail men and women I pitty.... what have we put them through? wow... I thought I was the only one stocking them... hell, my dogs even got in on the sting op with me.

Just so everyone knows, or at least those who live in Winnipeg, Air Canada has flights for under $300.00 right now... YIPEE!!!!

The UPS man just left my house!

I've gone through the package quickly and I'm going to sit down and have a nice read later on!

It feel soooooo much more real now that the package is here!

Now we can actually book flights and everything!!

Hey...like I've said before...don't book the cheapest flight you can find. Book an average price flight because most likely, that'll be the money you have to book your flight home when you get your relo cheque at the end of your year. If you book a really cheap flight, you might not find that to go home and will have to pay more money. You are going to get back what you pay to get down there...unless you plan on not finishing your contract or getting termed! If you don't use it to fly home, you can do a nice leaving trip, shopping spree or use it to live off of when you return.
