Cultural Representative Program July 15th arrival group!!! Who's out there?!?

Hey Guys,
My name is Emily, I am from Ontario, Canada and I will be heading down the Orlando on July 15th to work in F&B...just wanted to know who else was out there arriving the same date?!?

No matter what country you are from or what job you're doing we'll all be going through training together so it'd be nice to get to know each other!!!!

Wow, either our thread is so low no one can see it, or there isn't anyone else on the boards heading down July 15th!

I'd love to get together before we head down! That sounds like a blast! Are you driving or flying down?

 

Hey gals, thought I would let you know that I read your post lol....I'm not going in July, I start June 24...it doesn't seem like many people are starting on my date either!

It seems like there are lots of start dates around June/July, so maybe there are fewer people going each time. Well, you'll be heading down only a few weeks before us, so chances are we'll see you a lot when we're in Florida!

Are you excited yet? 139 days to go until July 15th!

 

I am SUPER excited! Especially with all the friggin' snow that continues to fall on Ontario. I am so done with winter.
I've done the program once before so if either of you girls have any questions I would be more than happy to answer the because I LOVE talking Disney!

How are people getting to Florida? My plan is to drive down... my dad and I are leaving from Ontario around the 10th and then staying at Old Key West before I move in (yeah... my dad likes to plan things in advance).

Emily, you said that you had brought down a car before, and that you were planning on bringing down a new car. Do you know all that you have to do to get it licensed, etc? Any information would be appreciated!

I can't believe there are only 118 days until we work at Disney!!!

Any other people finding out they are going on the 15th? So far I've heard of no one from the UK going at this time... 112 days!!!

I just got a call from Yummy Jobs! They do have all my information and will be sending a package soon... yay! The only shocking thing was that Disney had me set for Food & Beverage, when I'd been told Merch! So I guess now I'm officially F&B... which is exciting because almost everyone I've met from Canada is working in F&B... it will be nice to be working in the same place as my friends!

Wow... it seems like everyone is in F&B! That's why I was so shocked when she said I was too. I guess it requires *a lot* more people to run the restaurant then it does to run the store or the movie/kidcot.
