DO anyone worry about the Cultural Gap between one and other?
I believe there is Cultural Gap between Asians and westerners. I am an Asian. I don't wanna feel kinda of distand from others. Cultural Gap is the thing which WORRIES me most.
    Can anyone help me out?
If you are alumini of this programme, could you plz Kindly give me some tips or share your experience with me?

hi, i was thinking about that too, and perhaps if nationals from a specific country stick to only the people from their country.
but, you know what? i don't think that will be an issue...everyone will hang out with everyone, no matter their country!
    .................at least i hope so!............
    cheers,

Melissa dont worry, when we all interviewed for the programme we were all asked how we felt about living with people from different countries... it was like one of the criterias for being chosen cos its a cool part of the learning experience. i have friends from other countries - Us, Japan, Holland etc its brilliant... Im sure everyone will get on great - everyone ive talked to going to disney seems nice.

    hey Melissa,

You shouldn't worry about it that much, take it easy, remember that experiencing other cultures is an important part of the program.

Just be yourself and have fun! No one is gonna look at you because you are more conservative or whatever.

    Relax and enjoy it  ;)

Actually, I have been struggling whether to raise the point Partying. I wanna say that Asians don't party much.I know that westserners like Partying much. My friend and I'm afraid of not being able to get used to this Party environment . ****** I have been WORRYING about being isloated from others if we don't go to party******.  :-[

[ I have been STRUGGLING whether to tell it or not. I hope I have made the right choice]
