I'm sure these questions have been asked because and some may be common sense but I want to be completely sure of what I'm doing and know how to plan. My main question is if the Culteral Representative program includes the College aspects? In September I will enter University and am planning on hopefully doing this in that year. Here are my questions. 1. Do you have to be in a certain College degree to be able to do the program? 2. How does the college part work? 3. How do you go about starting the program? I mean, who do you talk to at your university and how do you set it up? I'm sorry if I'm repeating anything, Thank you to anyone who answers. Oh, by the way, I live in Canada if that helps.
I think you have mixed up 2 spereate programes the cultural rep programme isnt for uni students as such it is for anyone who wants to go work for a year at disneyworld in their coutries area. you cant work anywhere else other than in that area so for canada only in the canada pavillion. you are on the q1 visa and you will stay predominantly in the commons or patterson court the international college programme which might be what ur looking for is a bit different - u have to be doing a course that is recognised and be at an affiliated college in ur own country in order to take part - this is a different visa to the crp its a J1 visa which is an academic one. you dont have to work in epcot to do this u can be based anywhere. part of it includes taking part in college courses. people on the ICP tend to stay in vista / chatham housing
Yess agreed, i think you're thinking of the Disney International College Program. The Cultural Rep Program doesn't require you to be in school, and you're living/working in Walt Disney World for one year. Go to www.yummyjobs.com or www.disneyinternationalprograms.com for more information on both programs. Or mainly to see the different between them are.
