    Hello all :D

I've from Australia, and I've been accepted into the international College program November 27th - February 8th. YYYAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY!! (So excited I can't sleep hehehehe)

I just have a couple of really random questions...
Firstly, I was wondering what the housing is like?
How many roomies do you generally get, and are they from any and all countries? I'm studying Japanese, and would LOVE a roomie from Japan :) :)
And also, as I understand it, working weeks are between 35 and 40 hours. Is overtime avaliable?
I've been given a role as a character attendant (sounds fun!!) Has anyone done this job? How is it? Do you get to work in different parks, with different characters?

Thanks in advance for any info :)

    Hi Lee
do you know more australians that are going on the college program?
well answering to your questions.. the roomies are random selected, you can't choose them but if you are lucky you'll get japanesse girls
when i was there i got roomies from singapore!
so you can live with people from any country
if you don't get any japanesse roomies don't worry, you can meet them at the japanesse pavillion or anywhere else
i met two japanesse girls once i went Florida Mall, and they were pretty cool
    very nice girls
i dont know much about your job rules but in the college program you are always allowed to make extra-hours for which you'll get paid 50% more, you just need to take some training, for example in merchandise.

and tell me if more australians are going with u..
    good luck

    Hi GabY.DucoinG!

Thanks a lot for that :D It sounds like so much fun, I can't wait :)
Can I ask you when you went on the college program, and how long did you stay for? What position did you have?

I'm still hunting for other Aussies going the same time as me.
Found 4 so far (on this board) (yay!)

Hey, I am working at Disney at the moment and have 5 room mates, 2 English like me and 3 Turkish. The other 2 English arrived on the same flight as did the three Turkish so they kind of already knew eachother but we al made friends really quickly. The housing is very nice......... slightly better in Chatham but not by a lot, we have three bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a large living, dining kitchen area. As for how many hours you work a week I think it depends on the area you work in. I'm in merchandise and have work weeks from 36 - 48 hours so there is no way I would apply for extra hours. You are allowed to swap shifts and give away shifts if you want though. It is a fantastic experience though.
