Hi! I had an interview for the WDW international program in march and have just discovered this site... better late than never!! I got an email back saying at this time disney were not able to offer me a position but would keep me on file until November and assumed it was basically a nice way of them saying no :'( however does this actully mean i am 'waiting listed' and still have a slight chance of getting a job? If so how big a chance is this as i am from the UK
Yes this does mean you are waitlisted, so you still have a chance, however I'm not sure what sort of chance. Basically if anyone gets termed or drops out you could possibly take their place, but I'm not sure what the odds are of it happening. Still its better than nothing xKx
Hi Laura Im waitlisted too. I think theres about 5 or 6 of us from the boards who are. Not sure what our chances are really but someone from here did get called off the waitlist last week so it could happen! fingers crossed! Nat xxx

Hi every one!!! im waitlisted too, here in Mexico since october interviews :S, lucky u its only one semester, im on waiting list for a year! well the opportunity depends on the accepted people, one of my frinds was calling 3 moths later and offered a position and she left in march, and im still on the list, so maybe they call, maybe not, so just keep the fingers crossed and wait, i know its hard! im have been waiting since november! pixie dust for every one! and hope see u all really soon in florida!!!! 8) where the dreams come true! Don't give up hope everyone...I was waitlisted too and I've just got back from my time out there....so it is possible that jobs come up!! and if people are still being terminated at the rate they were when I was out there there's every chance you will get a call!! It doesn't hurt to get in touch with the people at the top either to show how eager you are for a job!! If you really wanna go that bad, don't let it slide just cos they're 'keeping you on file'!!!! hey laura, i was was waitlisted and alexis rang me last week to say i got the job starting 13th june.. so its a bit rushed but at least i got it.... so dont worry about it

Laura....don't be afraid...I'll be there thanks to a friend of mine that just did that experience in the past...Well...that boy was choosen only the second time that he did the interview...because the first time he was so nervouse, and he wasn't be able to have a good dialogue...He tried for the second time...and he got it!!! So...remember...as a my dear English teacher told me...Alessandro...don't forget..." WHERE THERE IS A WILL.....THERE IS A WAY"...GO ON LAURA!!! That boy...after missing the first interview left abroad in EIRE to improve the language...after 9 months he comes back in Italy...and...later...he left another way...not in Europe yet...USA.....so long baby..hug from Italy whereever you are...

Hy Laura... Good evening Laura...So...I'd like an information just to improve my knowledge about Disney world... In my particular situation,just 'cause I'm Italian, one of the bigger problems for the interview is language...SO..a normal Italian Applicant, or better...SO.. I begun to study and to speak also alone...( ;D ;D trust in me when I say that)... for a long time before to have the interview...well...You came from Scotland...(Maybe you don't care,but I have lived in London ahaah great..congratulation to your country!!!) I think is stupid to presume that you could have some problem with language...SO...for you, or any one mother tongue....WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM???!!! I also think that the Disney's manager are more selective with mother tongue...and are more amenable with strangers like me...But don't be sad dear Laura...You will some day!!! my msn superulisse@hotmail.com take it easy....(I don't know the real mean of this expression...but it doesn't matter...It make sounds good...ahahahaha)
