Maybe i'm reading this wrong. But in the Disney pack it mentions something about not getting you're Visa until around a month before you go. But then i remember reading about people making their visa apointments now?

That could be it. So in other words, I can't book my Visa appointment yet.

Just asked Yummy and they advise us to book the appointment 2 months before we go.

weird. I would rather just get it all out of the way now. I mean you dont want to start spending money on flights and things and not get a Visa! I not thats unlikely, but you never no

I know but that's the risk we have to take! I booked my flight today, but I made sure it was a flexible one just in case I don't get my visa in time. The reason we can't do it earlier is because the US embassy doesnt send them our paperwork until the last minute, and there's nothing Yummy Jobs can do about it. So I will book my appointment in May and hopefully get it for mid July. The visa should take a few days to be sent back to me, and if by any chance it doesn't get to me by my start date at the end of July, Yummy said I will have to start on the next available start date. Thats why its important to get a flexible flight date! They said it's unlikely to happen, but just in case!

Where abouts does it say that it's flexible? The flight i'm looking at says you can change it for a £35 fee, which sounds flexible enough to me but I guess there could be restrictions?
