Hey Guys, K, I dont know if anyones asked this before... is there a point bringing my laptop along with me? Is there anywhere to plug it in for internet or wireless internet??? I mostly just want to bring it so I can put my pictures on it from time to time, but I dont wanna pack it if there's no point.. If someone could let me know that'd be awesome! thanks Carly
I have found my laptop to be so helpful (and there is the fact that I can't live without it) Yes there is internet, some people have wireless but we can't get it in our apartment so we all use cables. You can access the cast portal and find out work schedules instead of having to go to a learning centre. It really depends on how much you're going to use it.
Okay, I've asked Davide about this but I'm still a little unclear. I have a mac and with my mac I have an airport. Airport is a wireless enabler. Like the picture, you plug in a network cable and then plug it into the wall and VAVOOM instant wireless, like a roter but smaller, better, cheaper and more stylish. Does anyone think that this will work with the network cable given in the commons?
I got wireless working in Vista with a router easily, so I see no reason why an airport wouldn't work!
Ehy Darling..you just have to plug it into the ethernet port in the apartment and the airport will work.
i dont have a laptop just as i cant afford one is it easy to use a computor if you dont have one?Dont want to be like the only person without one will have to beg mum and dad more.

yo yo yo Kev! ahem sorry erm no i took my cables with me... both my ethernet cable and adapter (my ethernet port doesnt work :'()... and thank god i did...... they do sell them at Walmart as well.
