You have the option of either going to the computer room on the commons which someone said on here can get quite busy or you could bring your own laptop from home and connect up to the internet in your own room. Gem xXx
Hey Gals and Guys, Hey Mat: U know if u have got ur lap top. Take it with u!! U will only need to buy a cable to get connected, and the price of the internet is included on the housing weekly fee. As for me, I am not taking mine, I will mine there. As electronics in the U.S., are cheaper than in Mexico. And I also buy it there to travel light , u know. I hate when u are about to enter the boarding area, and they ask u to turn on all ur electronic media. See ya Robb ;D
I definitely recommend bringing a laptop if you have room. When I was there, there were only maybe 6 or 8 computers in the Commons. Usually at any given time 3 of them didnt' work well. They weren't very fast either. I had my laptop (dad's "business expense"). You are lucky that they have internet in the apt's now. I had to pay $44.95 a month for my connection. Pain in the but when you don't make much! I can't believe that Wednesday was a year since my last day My final day was Tuesday March 9, 2004. The year flew by!!
Loved having my laptop with me. The computer room was always too busy and with free internet access in the rooms now it makes it really easy to use
Awww Dee you must miss it so much. Gismo - where did u keep ur laptop, to make sure it didnt disappear, i think Dee said she had great trustworthy roommates. xxx
Well my lovely flat mates were allowed to use it by me too so it actually sat in the Living room most of the time. I did however lock it away when I went away or if there was a party in the house in which case it went in to my locker in my closet.
