Hi everyone! Just a small question: How do the computer rooms work at Disney? I mean, how many rooms are there and with how many computers? What time do they open and are they of easy access or are they always full?... ??? If anyone knows please let me know. Thanx XOXO Niki
Yes that would be really good to know 'coz I am wondering if I bring my laptop with me or not :/ If I do bring it, do you know if theres a free wifi access in rooms or not?
yeh, i'm wonderin the same, but really am thinkin of bringin the laptop, i'm so addicted to the internet and msn right now and bebo, don't think i could go a day without it! lol
Well I think we get acess to the universitys computer facilities which apparently are vast. I'm sure disney wouldn't have a short supply of computers. But I'm taking my laptop none the less. Its abit more private and secure that way.....not trying to be anti-social in anyway though ;D
The most accessable computer rooms are at the housing complex's clubhouses. I'm pretty sure theres only about 10 at the commons and most times people are on them. But there is a half an hour limit. There are computers available at Disney university too that you can use.
im taking my laptop i prefer to be able to go online whenever i feel like it i thnk the internet in the rooms require u to take an ethernet cable - its not wireless unless someone else there has got a router the ethrnet cables are cheap enough to buy
Each apartment has an Ethernet cable outlet for around 4 laptops at a time and since it is rare that everyone is home at the same time this is more than enough. If you do not have a laptop every complex has a clubhouse with around 10 comps for general internet access and a few especially for the Disney site to check your schedule and things so people do not spend long on these. Not sure about all the theme parks the the magic Kingdom had a learning center with the same set up and I'm sure the other parks do as well. I would suggest if you are planning on using the internet that you bring a laptop if possible, you will be very busy and the club houses are a long way away from the apartment in most cases. yeah, alot of people do take there laptops, and people that didnt wish they did, I live of the commons and the computers at there club house are slow and 3 0r 4 of them dont even work, there are computers at cast services also at epcot, which are pretty fast, if you work at epcot that could be handy before you start or finish work. Not sure about the disney Uni as ive only ever been there once for traditions, but its a bit of a trek just to use a computer. My advise, bring a laptop!
