so anyway i have appled twice before to get on the programm for this year after my 1st application i had a phone interview then rejection and 2nd time i just got a straight rejection letter. :'( after having 2 rejections i was heartbroken not to be able to go out duiring my gap year, and kinda gave up hope. But no after talking to someone who is out there already i have had a smile put back on my face as he as made me relise that it would be better in the long run to do it after uni as i'll be older and will have fewer ties in my way. so i just wanted to say to everyone out there, to keep trying no matter how many times they say no greets J thanks James for the words to make me smile again
Hi there!! I'm not giveing up , I've had two straight rejection letters and have now changed to fit in with what Yummy wanted to hopefully next time won't be as much hurt! Its always nice to hear of someone else who is also not giveing up! Good luck!! Kerry
Good luck to you to tinks, glad to no ur not gonna give up!! what have you changes in order to fit in with what they want, maybe i'll have to try that. But for now i am consentrating on finishing my a-levels an uni so i have 3 and a half years to get experience with in industry and travel abit. I'm just glad i get to spend 6 months in the USA as part of my degree otherwise i don't think i would be able to cope. just have to stay on the boards until then
Hey there! I can only imagine how heartbroken you are. One of my now best friends was only on the waiting list but then she got in and she was a fantastic cast member and totally fitted in. I just wanted to add to this "Don't Give Up" theme..... DON'T!!! I first applied more than 5 yrs ago. I applied with a friend of mine. Unluckily for me, she got accepted and I got put on the waiting list. I got called back to the next interviews and flat out got rejected... wasn't even being considered. I pretty much gave up and tried to forget about it. Last summer, for some reason, I decided to apply again. Lo and behold.... I am now counting down the last couple of months before I get to Florida. So, never give up... it took me some time, but now my time is almost here. Good Luck, Sandra
