Hello! I was a fairly active member on this site last summer, but then school began and I got wrapped up in all that brings! So i have a few questions because I am still wrestling with the idea of going to Disney. I called about the international college program last year and I thought they said it didn't exist anymore. Is this not the case? I am Canadian if that makes a difference! The IP sounds really fantastic but I am not sure if I can afford to take off a whole year of school, so the college program is a bit more appealing! Any insight, advice, encouragement..etc etc.. would be appreciated! Thanks! Allie
Hi Allie Yeah the ip still exists theres loads of canadians on here who are going. Im going to do the ip, not sure which is best... im doing it after my degree. Good luck xxx
Hi Allie... I could be wrong, so don't quote me, but I don't think the international college program is available to Canadians. I can't remember where I heard this, but I remember hearing it (or reading it) somewhere. However, from what I have heard, going for a year is so much better. Just think how quickly 3 months would pass. I've heard so many people say that a year isn't long enough. If you have to wait until you're finished school to do the year program, I would. Many people have taken a year off of school to participate in the program and then come home to finish school. Give either Cast-A-Way a call and see if they can help or call the JobLine at WDW.... 407-828-1000 (they are open until 8pm.) Sandra
Ugh! I had the feeling this would be the case. I don't understand why this is the case! I am going to give them a call and see what my options are. My problem is I am already behind in my degree due to a transfer in program and schools and I still have further schooling afterwards, so another year might just be too long. I will give them a call shortly...any more advice, encouragment is always helpful! thanks Allie
