clothing for first days

ok so i am aware that for the first few days of the program we need to wear professional clothing and i do have a guideline in my info pack disney sent. However i am unclear about one thing - if i wear black pants and a blouse do i have to wear a jacket? I really dont want to but i dont want to go out and buy a skirt and shoes to match. Does anyone who has done it before know?

You don't have to wear a jacket. As long as it's a professional looking shirt. And has sleeves.

But that's for work. For your first day there, wear anything you like.

 

Do people who will be working for 3 months have to wear professional clothes. I"m confused about the CP and IP things. In HOng kOng, we call the one which lasts for 1 year CP while the one lasts for 3 months IP.
Anyway, I will be working for 3 months.

 

I took my suit with me and never wore the jacket while I was there. Like Robyn said, as long as you have sleeves...even short sleeves...just not a sleeveless blouse...you'll be fine...but you will want some sort of cardigan because I remember the room for traditions and the clubhouse being FREEEEEEEZZZZZZZZING!!!!! Welcome to Florida, where inside everywhere is cold!!! Stupid AC!!!

How about the pant. Do I need to wear the black long pant [ the pant of the business suit]

 

does it mean that everyone needs to wear suit when i arrive in disney?

cheers for the help people, im wearing linen trousers, and short sleeved tie side shirt i bought yesterday!

all sorted! i know shan... the AC will drive me mad bein so cold, it always did while on hols!!

I hate shirts, they don't fit me properly!!! Looks like i'll be going shopping to try and find one then

 

Dont foget you have to wear stockings even if you wear pants, they saw a friend didnt have them on and didnt let her go to traditions, lol

I've just got back from the Trafford Centre and bought a suitable shirt!! all these things which we need to take!!!!!!

 

you can easily tell if u are wearin them or not! that puts the skirt idea out the window cos havin tights on itll b hmmf! lol. so ill wear trousers with little pop socky type things, attractive but oh well!

hey am still waitin for my pack cos i only found out a few eeks ago soooooo ahgggggggggg so hang on let me see it ive got this we have to dress smart for the first day does that mean when u arrive or what and when were workin will we have a uniform to wear am guessin am only goin for 3 mounths any help anyone???????????????

 

its just for the first few days of orientation that you have to dress smart. its like going to uni, but business like!!! for the first night be casual for the welcome party!!! ;D ;D ;D
