My friend is vague on most of her descriptions so I thought I would ask on here. Seems like there is so many classes for people in the CRP. I thought that was the main different between the CRP and the ICP is one had classes and the other one... after training had none. So for thoese who have done it before, what information do you have about these classes? How much mandatory stuff do you have to do once you start work? Like right now my friend has to do something (she choose to make a picture) to help people get to know her and I would think everyone knows her cause she has been there since May 6th. So instead of asking her more and trying to pry more info from her on the matter I thought you guys would know more and can let us in on Classes and how many you have to take and such if your in the CRP.
The J1 Academic program (which falls under the ICP umbrella) does require you to take classes. The summer work ICP program and the CRP do not have the option to take classes, though you can sign up for things like seminars and the leadership series, I believe. KC
Ya I have no idea what my friend is talking about. Guess I will have to wait and see. We are both in the CRP so what is up with the classes and projects and stuff she is doing I have no idea. Not that I am totaly against classes, I just wanted to know what is up with them. I never heard anyone mention them past the training time till she did.
As a CRP you can take any of the classes available for most of the CPs as long as they are offered by Disney University and not offered strictly from UCF (such is the case for the hospitality management seminar) or UCM. You can check the courses on the college program website. These classes are optional and can only be taken is you are a disney employee. (If you are hired by a participant on the crp you cant take these classes¡) but you can sign in for other talks and seminars offered through disney university.
