Hey all. Has been soooooo long it feels since i last saw the Rose & Crown. Just wondering what everything is like now around Epcot, and in Commons life in general. Who are the managers there now??? Is Kathy still in charge of the Rose & Crown?? I loved her to bits, she was cool. Got a mate who went to the interviews the other week, so any advice you could think of, let us know, and i'll pass it on. (Sure he's had more than enough of me going on about everything for the past 6 months...)
the managers there now are rob, laura and 2 idiots, one called scott and one called david. david's from blackpool. i hate them. they both got me terminated. rob's the best manager there. laura hasn't got a clue whats going on. its a circus the way its run, i dont know what it was like when u were there but i heard it was pretty cool before these managers came. when were u there?
Hey, Kathy moved from the Rose and Crown in early 2004, as far as I know she now works at the Electric Umbrella. I was there for 9 months in 2003 before I self terminated and when I was there the managers were Jeff, Becki then Karl, Staci and Jody. Some of them, mentioning no names, were fine but others not so fine. I think that place has always had the worst managment in history. I often felt that when I was there that we could have run the place better. I had a fab time there but it definetley wasn't the place to learn about good managment and it's no surprise to learn that they are still picking on people to get them terminated - just like they did in my day!
I feel like its been forever since i was in the Rose and Crown....but i guess i did leave in 98. We had quite a few managers back then.....Keith Landry, Keith Gonzales, Melissa (dont remember her last name), Kathy was there, and then there was Joe ( not Joe Wheeler!) He was mental! Used to call in occasionally and ask for late 6pm start to watch Pinky & the Brain if he was on. Yay! I'm sure there were others but i cant remember.....
I workin in Electric Umberella this summer as CP and Cathy isnt exactly a manager there she is an Area Restaurant Manager but she did pop in every now and then she was way cool gave me 2 tickets for La Nouba which was amazing! ;D awww i miss it! jo x
