Cell Phones

    Just wondering if people are planning on getting cell phones when they get to FL?

    I think Im gona take my own...not so much to keep in contact with people from back home more so if I get lost in a club or something in Florida then I can call someone!! Ive checked that mine will work in America aswel...!!! x

    I know mine won't, unfortunately. Does anyone have an idea how much I'd have to pay for a quad-band cell phone?

    lisa many of our colleagues bought a mobile phone with prepaid card for ca. 30 $ at wallmart...

    I really want to keep mine, but unfortunately it's not unblocked so I have to get one, my cousin will give me hers which is actually the one they sell at wal-mart for $15 bucks that everybody's talking about, but eventually I wanna go to T-Mobile and get my SideKick (the one in Gossip Girl).
    We'll see what happens :D

    buying one when out there, youll meet loads of people american and brits and it would cost a lot to stay in contact with them and such
