    just got this email...

    Good Afternoon!

For your information, We will no longer be recruiting or handling anything with Walt Disney World, We will no longer be your point of contact.

This means that everything having to do do with your arrival at Disney should be referred directly to roger.antoniazzo@disney.com or michael.d.almeida@disney.com

We will however still be recruiting for Disney Cruise lines, so if after your program you are interested, please go to our website www.cast-a-way.com and fill out our online application.

It has been a pleasure meeting you and I wish you much success on your program.

    Thank you.

    Sincerely,

    Eric Theriault

It appears Yummy Jobs is taking over in Canada!

I guess they might be trying to streamline the process for the different countries!

Thanks for posting the note Jenn, I got the same note as Steffie. So Yummy Jobs is coming to Canada.

I'm worried now, I hope everything works out.
I hope they get all of our information and the visa process gets sorted out.

I need to fax my criminal check as well. I'm guessing I should just ask them for the fax number

Yep, I received the e-mail from Eric as well, but then I received that one from Disney International Recruiting.

So we have to send them our information about when we are going and such?

Yes, you should have received an e-mail from them asking for your information.

I'm worried too. I started preparing for my start date of July 15th. My dad's booked into Old Key West with our timeshare for the 12th-15th so that I can come down early and go to the parks before I start working. I hope my date doesn't change!

I only got the same e-mail as SteffieDavis did. I did not get any other ones yet.

Hmmm... this seems really sketchy, and not the best time to be switching companies! I would have thought they'd waited and just started the next round of people with Yummy so that there would be minimal switching.

    Yeah, it seems VERY hectic.
And asking us to send our information makes me worry that they don't already have it.

I think in any sort of hiring agency it is very easy to get things messed up and I just hope it goes smoothly.

It seems that they at least have a couple of month to get sorted out until people start leaving.

ya I understand your concern, I wouldn't see them switching dates though

For people who have been accepted, I've made a new topic (http://www.wdwip.com/smf/index.php?topic=5641.0) so that if you hear anything about dates changing *please* let me know. I've also posted the full e-mail there. Did anyone else receive that e-mail?

Anyway, I have to go now, I'm late for setting up an event. I can't wait to hear what other people have heard! We shouldn't hear much from yummy tonight, since it's WAY past business hours in England. This whole 6 hour time difference is going to make it *really* awkward unless they plan on opening offices in Canada. I'm just thinking... the time difference would be even worse for people out on the West Coast!

ya, I would think they would open and office here because would they expect us to call them in England? That is a really long distance call :-\

I just got an e-mail from Roger after I sent in my info.

Great hearing from you and Congratulations on receiving an offer for the Disney International Program.

I am sure you have now received the email re: Yummy Jobs handling all the Canada candidates. Do not worry, they will be in touch with you shortly and will help you ensure your participation in the program is a successful one.

I still don't have the other e-mail yet. Wonder if they are still getting them sent out. Does not look like they are going by Business hours of England though.

Canadians do not need a visa appt. that doesn't apply to us.

I called Eric and Disney Recruiting and Eric was very quick on the phone. DR was helpful, and told me I was dealing with Yummy Jobs now. I really hope they open a Canadian office. It makes me nervous that they think we'd have our visas already, and it does say "if applicable" for embassy appts. But it makes me nervous too that they don't even have our start dates and roles!

I am so confused. I still never got that long letter. I am on Jet Leg still from the timezone change that is taking longer to get out of then it did to get into. So I am completely confused over this. They think I have this long e-mail but I don't. I checked my junk mail and everything. I am beginning to worry.
