Ok, so we got 50 cm of snow yesterday and are expecting another 50 cm tonight. I like snow for snowboarding and all, but this is slightly ridiculous. Especially since I can't snowboard because everything is closed, roads, buses, etc etc. I can't wait to get down to the warm weather of Florida. What is it there today? 22?

Seriously it is FREEZING here right now. I only got here monday and was looking forward to warm weather as I live in the very cold and wet UK...but I wish I'd bought my hat, scarf, gloves, winter coat and thermals haha!!

I have no idea what is going in, but hey!

Try having BEEN in Florida (since Mid June), and coming BACK to the cold in November!

it's so strange to think of florida as cold too! I've been over at christmas and it wasn't cold cold... just colder. but still much better than the UK! And california winter is still really nice too. I was out walking in the middle of december at 2am in the morning in nothing but jeans and a hooded sweatshirt!

I was wearing my lovely floofy skirt the other day and just a light sweater and it was +1! I was pretty floored and delighted. That's like, beautiful weather right now. I can't imagine that being termed as 'bad weather' over yonder in Florida-land.
But also, my city hit the record of the coldest place on earth last winter, with a whopping -54 degrees celcius. Oh yeah, that was a great day. Instant frostbite :p

Glasgow is just ridiculous just now! I'vce never seen rain or wind like it in three and half years of living here... Even my place in Dundee (by the sea) is less windy and cold... I get to go home today though cause uni has just broken up for Christmas! Woo hoo! 1 degree more warmth in the Dee! ;D
