Who wants to go boot shopping with me? Heck if any Canadians are currently there and want to come help me pick out boots, I'd welcome your company!

I'll go boots shopping with you! I'm half-tempted to buy them here and just bring them, but then if I buy the wrong ones, I'll have too many sets of ugly boots...

    Whereabouts in Canada are you?

I'm in Calgary AB. I thought about buying the boots here, but I didn't really want to pack 'em, and someone mentioned getting a Disney discount when he/she bought them down in Florida.

awww you guys are my replacements, I am currently working in the Canadian pavillion in Merch, and will be leaving on March 2nd. :(
Boots need to look something like this: http://www.payless.com/store/produc...99&lotId=019386&category=&catdisplayName=Boys
but there is a timberland right behind the commons that gives discounts with a disney id.
Hope you are saving lots of money for you can spend up to $1000 easily just to get set up.

Those are some seriously unattractive boots. My feet are going to look huge!

We'll need that much money to get set up with what exactly?

when you first get down here you are going to have to get your food, bedding (unless you are bringing it with you), hangers, and your boots (by the way the picture was just to show you what they generally needs to look like not the size) but really as long as the boots are brown and are hiking boots then no one will really care to much (I have browny/tan, one other person has dark brown, and someone else has light brown) you will also want money to go out with people so that you can get to know them.

we get a discount on boot at timberland which is in the outlets across from commons, you get the discount after your traditions class when you get your id card. most boots there cost $40 to $60 but they are good quality.

both are good. They are not that picky on boots but I will recomend that what ever boot you go for make sure it is water proof for it rains alot down here and sidewalks like to turn into rivers. So you might want to go for the higher ankle but both would be suitable for the costume.
