Get ready they're coming! Mine came from UPS today and I arrive June 19!

Ah but are you a CP? That could be most of the reason since the pack includes your Visa Information so they still need to get that from the US Govt before they can send it out to you (at least in Canada this is the case).

Basically you get a copy of page one of the petition for you to work in Florida as a nonimmigrant worker from Disney. It's basically your confirmation the US Gvt has approved your visa.

If you found out last week you're going down thats probably the reason you haven't seen it yet.

 

I doubt ICPs will get them til next month. When I talked to Eric he said 'shortly before you leave'.

 

Yeah last year I had 5 weeks notice of my position and got mine somewhere between 2 and 3 weeks before arriving.

 

Yeah I am ICP but I have known about my position since November so it has been a long wait. But what you said Jordan about the Visa stuff makes sense. I hope it comes earlier than 2 to 3 weeks before I leave!!

 

yeah if you've known since November I'd expect it sometime in the next week or two.

 

I didn't get my pack until about 2 weeks beforehand, very nerveracking. I knew I was going for about 4 months beforehand and I emailed Eric and he said 2 weeks was normal and not to worry.

 

Not getting the packs until 2 weeks worries me some. I'm taking a LOA from my current job to do this, but they want any kind of paper work from Disney (just to prove that I am infact going...) before my Leave is approved. So far all I have is the email from Eric. I hope they come sooner than later!! :-X

Oh goodness (and isn't it just a chaaaarming full name?)! Haha, well there you go! I wasn't even going to start worrying about mine for a while but I'm going to be phoning home every day now just to see if it has!

 

Yeah don't worry you'll learn 75% of my name in exchange (one of my middle names isn't listed because I don't always use it... don't believe it's on my passport thus it aint there).

 

Weird! It's as if it doesn't exist!

So, will I be seeing all the Canadian names heading down in June, since we don't have the same arrival day yet we're on the same list?

Well not everyone is on the list... my form says there's something like 50 names on it, but there's maybe 10 on the list... I think you just see the names around yours (alphabetical by last name).

The only email that I got was from Eric, nothing from Disney :'( Should I be worried about that?
