Hi everyone. Sorry to be asking so many questions but I was curious if are any current Canadian cultural representatives working in Merchandise or attractions who might be able to give me an idea about the type of footwear worn. I understand a brown hiking boot is required but with so many hiking boots on the market, I'm curious to know *exactly* what Disney is looking for. This would be such a big help! Thanks so much! Jen
I'd like some help on this as well. I went boot shopping the other day, I didn't buy one. I couldn't tell if the one I wanted would have been the right shade or if the logo was too prominent. How strict is the boot policy? 28 days to go...
I am pretty sure as long as they are mostly brown and the logo is not prodominant with crazy colours like hot pink or something crazy like that you will be fine.
I wasn't planning on buying anything until I got down there in March... would you guys keep us posted when you go and let us know what people are wearing??
Hey I finished my progam months ago I was in Canada Attractions! woot woot. Anyhow they actually aren't that strict on hiking boots as long as they actually look hiking boot ish. Most people get them from walmart when they get there. My suggestion however is to head to the Timberland store at the outlet mall right across from the commons. it will cost you a little more, but I can't tell you how comfortable I was in my Tims while other people were complaining about theirs or having to buy new ones half way through. well worth the money. I believe I paid $75 for mine.
Could someone post pictures of what their hiking boot looks like. So I could get an idea of what to search for. And what colour brown? Its been impossible for me to find anything that is not beige.
Hey everybody, I asked Kristen at YJ a little while ago about this and she sent me this pdf of what the costuming dep says is good. Hope it helps!
