Canadian ICP interviews early 2009!

Thought I would start a new thread! I'm so excited!

It would be awesome if the interviews were held during the spring break! No skipping school needed then...

Did you guys have to do phone interviews? I just applied today, but I went last year for the same program and we had to do a phone interview before we were invited to the f2f interviews... is it different now? I just wanna know if i should keep my phone on lol. Do we know the interview cities yet?

 

Keep it Steffie! There is a phone interview. The city for the f2f interview are Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal!

Can't believe I've actually waited over (close to) 4 months for this now. And I really do hope it's going to be during Reading Break I'm having a whole bunch of exams coming up and I can't afford to miss them, though I'll cut normal classes anyday for Disney

I can't wait to know interview's dates anymore, I'm so exciting ! I hope it'll be during spring break because I can't take back my exams.

Where are you attending the interviews ? Like I am from Quebec, I'll go to Montreal.

I can't miss exam me too...but I only got one b4 the spring break...so the chance are thin...Even that...I'll try to have an arrangement with my teacher if it's happen...She better say YES!
But the spring break will be the best!

 

I'm most likely going to go for the Toronto one since I'm studying here But I might need to go to Montreal if I can't make it for the interview ... I hope not though >_<

 

Same 4 me if the interview in Montreal is on my exam day... better not to think about that though...

@Steffie: Keep it on! Kristen called my cell on a randon day while I was in class for my interview, so I had to call her back shortly afterwards. Best to just keep it on in the mornings

 

I'm getting so anxious to know the interview dates, i hope we get the email soooon haha

 

ASAP would be great...Hopes we get the dates tomorrow or at least b4 friday! I can't wait anymore...

 

Alright, this waiting game is getting a little ridiculous. Does anyone else find themselves checking their e-mail constantly to see is Kristin has e-mailed them? I have tons of essays and proposals to due, but I find I am just coming to these boards or checking my e-mail. I am sure once we find out the interview dates it is only going to get worse though. lol.

So what is everyone choosing for their job picks? I find that the jobs on the Disney ICP site are different than people are mentioning. Like there is no Character Attendant on the list that I can see. Is there a better website for this?

I am super stoked and just need to talk about Disney a little. I miss it...

 

omg emily I know.. im supposed to be writing a paper on our healthcare system, but im just like cruising these forums and checking my email haha i thought we were supposed to know by monday and im going crazyyy haha. i also have to book a flight for mine since i live way over in NS, so I'm hoping we know soon, cause flights get pricier the closer you book to the date

 

also for jobs im thinking right now merchandise? just because i have so much experience in retail already. but id really be happy with anything, aside from QS FB because i worked in fast food before and it was miserable

 

I really hope we hear Monday since I'm starting to go crazy over here! Has anyone else thought about what their going to wear to the interview? I think I'm going to go clothes shopping this week sometime. I'm really curious to see what jobs are available for us to apply for, would love to do attractions or merchandise.

 

Kristen just e-mailed!!! First couple of weeks in March! At least it is better than "early 2009". Now the big question...what to wear!

Also, I will be attending the Toronto interview and wonder if anyone wants/has set up a time to meet before the interviews. I think it would be fantastic to get a whole bunch of Disney nerds together for a play date!
