Just go to your local cop shop and ask for a general background check.
It's just a regular criminal record check just stating that you have not been in jail/committed any crimes.

IN winnipeg I just went to the public works building and you pay and like a week later you get it in the mail. Just like that its really easy

I think Eric threw us all off when he said background check.
What he wants is a police clearance, which can be gotten from your local, or provincial police. I live in Windsor, so I can get the Windsor police, the OPP, or the RCMP. Eric said to just get the one that's less of a hassle.
A background check is like, a private detective going into your entire life! Haha.

"Tracey brushes her teeth approx 3 times a day"
"She tends to breathe heavy when she sleeps"

Yeah...I don't think they need to INVESTIGATE into your life.
Just the police clearance is all you need.

In the UK we need to get a background check.. its a piece of paper that just says if we have been arrested or had any criminal convictions!
