Canada phone interviews

Anyone got any info on when phone interviews are in canada i e-mailed eric from cast a way he said it will be soon just waiting to conform dates and loctaions. Anyone else know anything man it sucks waiting

 

LOL you seem so impatient. Didn't you send your resume only a week or so ago? I sent mine late November and still waiting for my interview date for the academic program.

 

I just want this so badly lol i cant wait

I wasn't expecting phone interviews until late Feb at least. March sounds more likely by the sounds of what people on here have been saying.

 

I believe I mentioned in another thread you were in that they are completely random, and they probably wont come for another 2-3 weeks at the earliest, and even then could take much longer. People were getting their phone interviews just weeks before the actual interviews last year. Meaning you could be waiting like another 6 or 7 weeks.

 

Since Ive sent my resume in everytime the phone rings I get excited haha. Hope they are soon.

 

Yeah if you have Caller ID I believe it will show up as Cast-A-Way, and if not Quebec for sure. I'm pretty sure it said Cast-A-Way tho.

 

I'm pretty sure you're right. They called me before the West coast interviews in the fall and that's how it showed up. If we miss it, do we just call them back and let them know? I'm assuming they'll just reschedule it...

 

If you're not home when they call then they'll just leave a message asking you to call them back and then they do the phone interview right then and there when you call back. It's only like a 5-10 min interview and it's nothing really difficult. Then they invite you to the interviews.

 

So who does the interviews Disney or Cast A Way or both ???

 

phone interviews are cast-a-way and i believe the f2f is with castaway and a disney rep? am i right anyone? ? ??


anyways i hope they come out with the f2f dates soon... anyone heard any specifics about april when? ...

ohhhhhhhh how i hope i dont have an exam that day.... gonna be sooo mad if i do ... and sad.... and have to beg my prof to reschedule it so i can go for an "important" job interview in toronto .....

 

Phone interview is with Cast-A-Way. The interview itself is with a Disney recruiter (but Eric is there to help answer questions though not in the actual interview)

 

I was told the first weekend in April. I think the next weekend is Easter, so I can't see them having them then. And after that is getting pretty late...so I'm hoping for the first week. My exams don't start til after Easter, when are yours? I think most of my profs would help if they could if I couldnt make the exam...at least i'd like to think so.

 

There are three different locations for this round aren't there? So if you couldn't make one date then perhaps you could make another? I know it's probably hugely inconvienient, but the option is always there.

 

ya.... there diffrent locations... well have to wait and see....that weekend i got an exam but im sure if i let them know enough in advance i could get it changed....

my exams start around the start of april i think ... have to check on that i guess lol

I've been a lurker on the website for a little while...I just put my app in for the CR program about 2 weeks ago...I am very excited to get the process started...from what I have read, everyone has GREAT things to say! I am just wondering how long all of you Canadians have had to wait for various phone interviews, f2f interviews and working dates!?

 

I applied in Oct, had an inerview a few weeks later, went to f2f in nov and I leave march 13. But I think that was pretty fast. There were ppl at the f2f who had applied 6 months before, and most ppl from that nov f2f don't start until June-Aug. I just lucked out I guess

 

Well i am from canada has well nice to see i am not the only playing the waiting game lol

 

The next round of Phone interviews for Canada should start in the next 4-6 weeks ish (they're usually a month before the interviews which are happening in April). These interviews are going to be in Toronto, Montreal, and Halifax (if they do the same cities as last year). Those positions could be any time from July-December (again based off last years results).

 

4-6 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats such a long time! Today i was on MSN and eating a sandwich and the phone rang long distance and I spit my food out because I was scared their first impression of me would be me trying to talk with my mouth full... But it wasn't them haha.
