hey guys what do the canadian merchandise castmembers wear?? im finding lots of different outfits, but i cant figure out which one is for merch...HELP im curious!!!!!! LISA
THE food cart in Canada = Lumberjack costume. The restaurnat is more of a Keg style costume (black pants and a shirt that I can't quite describe). Ok, as one cast member to a future cast memember, heres the fun down... Le Celier you wear god-awful polyester black pants, the if you don't have hips? You'll have them now...and an they are tapered! You have to wear them AT your belly-button, so girl be prepared to go up at least one (most likely two) in pant size! The Shirt is almost an oriental collar, so no real collar, just done up to the top! It's a VERY FINE White Burgundy stitch. Long sleves. Polyester again, luckily yes, for the most part you are inside! Popcorn cart is a little different - Boys you get shorts or pants (we wear black shoes with black socks) and the lovely red and black plaid lumberjack shirt! Girls a little different we get Coolots (not sure how to spell it) There are a bit like a skirt (mid-calf) BUT they are PANTS! LOTS ofnice thick polyester fabric and a lumberjack shirt! and a cute this tilly-style hat! Hope this helps Any questions ask away
haha disney really needs to change their idea of where pants should fall forsure!!! so working in merch i will be wearing.....the plad shirt and a shirt or...is it the same for outside and inside??
Disney needs to get a better idea of what Canadians even look like by the sounds of it! Lumberjacks?! Is that what we do, build cabins and make maple syrup?! haha. And from what I've heard, I think the video they play in epcot is still from the 80's or whatever and needs to be updated. I'm doing the summer program but I don't know what restaurant for F&B I'll be working in...I think from what I was told tho we can work anywhere in the property, not just Epcot so I hope that's true! ..Not that uniforms anywhere will be any more glamorous!
Yes But at the same time? Is there Anything that we could wear? That is a "Traditional" Costume? I'm not condoneing the Lumberjack cuz I think it's just at Stereo-typical but yeah. Yes the "O'Canada - 360 Vision" is from 1982. Unfortunately with it being 360, there have been problems filming. They have tried to update it, but when they have reviewed the footage, they find someone or something that doesn't work! People Fingering the Camera, or some shots don't look good on the 360. They are trying a new video (I believe in August) and hopefully that one will work! It depends on your Visa, which area you can work in. Are you on the Cultural Rep Program? Cuz if you are, you will be stuck in Le Celier and Canada's Popcorn Cart!
If you're on the summer program you will not be working in the pavilion, you could be anywhere else on property though.
