HI ALUMNI ;D Im wondering if you guys can help me? I have credit card and personal loan to pay off and I am worried that it wont be paid off in time before I go. Did you have any financial bother before you went? Should I aim to have it all paid off or is it possible to have a wire transfer set up in the states to go back to the united kingdom? I would only have 2 monthly payments left once I get there. Hopefully it will be sorted somehow. ??? Carol
Carol - i wouldnt worry about it too much. As long as you leave enough money in your account to cover the final couple of payments then you should be fine!! It might also be a good idea to giv parents access to your accounts while youre away in case anything comes up while youre out in the US. Its what i plan to do anyway!! Ill get paid three days after I leave fro the US and Ill need my parents to be able to transfer the money from my UK account to my account in the US!!
