Can I go back?

Hello everyone.

How are you all??
I hope you are fine. I have a big question!!!

I participated in the International Program back in March 2005.
But I have to leave the program in Octobre, halfway trough my year, because
my mother was seriously ill.
Thank God, she is fine right now

My question is, do you think I can reapply for the IP?
I was working in the attraction, but I would love to try Merchandise.

Do you know if this is possible...
Of course, right now I am in college, and I will graduate more or less 2009
Do you think I could reapply by then?

i think you could....i have heard of other people who have done this program a couple times...

 

The most important question is the circumstances in which you left - did Disney approve your departure, or not? If they didn't, I fear you'll find you have "no-rehire" status.

Thanks for your replies.

In fact, I just didnt left right away when I got the notice
that mom was ill.
In fact I did all my finishing with my managers, and I signed the
last papers and gave all my costumes, and give the door key and ID's

What u think about that?

im sure if it from the sounds of it the leave of absence was ok'd by disney so you should be able to apply again... what i would do is e-mail your hiring agency for your country and tell them your scenario and see what they think ....

You can. My friend's sister had that same problem and she was able to go back again and is still there last I heard. I think that is a reasonable reason to leave and the fact you let them know and told them all about it, I am sure they would welcome you back no problem. It is not your fault your mother was ill, and the way you handled it was good too so I say apply again, I am sure they will hire you back.
