    Hey Everyone,

Just wondered if anyone can give me any advice on booking flights/cost etc.. my start date is October 20th and would be hoping to fly from Manchester or Leeds cos I live in York and so far the cheapest i can find is about £630 for a single which seems a bit pricey?

Also if I fly out a bit earlier then my start date where would people recommend hotel wise to stay thats near to where we need to be for our start date.

Any advice welcome thanks Adam ;D :)

hey mate, have you gone on statravel.co.uk? it shouldn't be costing you as much as that. i booked through them for a virgin flight in july and it was like £500

also check quite a few different sites, the airlines themselves, expedia, travelsupermarket, lastminute etc
    hope that helps a bit!

  3. you should try calling them aswell! Sometimes u get a lower deal when u call

Hey Jim.....hun how r u? I texted you twice last night. Hope your ok!!

Flights: You can get them for £305.50 return like mine as an open ticket on www.virginatlantic.co.uk and then call them and say u found the cheapest price and ask them to make it an open ticket and they will book it for you there and then.

hey adam, i was like you having serious trouble finding anything under £600 so i just held off and got my flight for july for £338 glasgow to orlando. if your not finding a price that suits id hold off coz something cheaper is bound to come up! advice wise id say try sta and also the american sites all the prices are in dollars so it comes up slightly cheaper again :) xxx

    I can agree with STA..

I just booked mine like a week or so ago, July 12th, £350 from gatwick to orlando, direct with virgin..

Just make sure you tick the box saying your a student or under 26...

If its working out really more expensive to go on that day, try a few days before..

As me, lee and laura have got a hotel room for 2 nights and it only works out at like $40 each or something!

Like if I booked the virgin flight on the 13th or 14th it was guna be £660, whereas it only cost me £350...

And a few more days in orlando is nothing but a bonus! ;D

When you book flights how can you make them open return? Because usually you can't make the return date anything over 11 months?

Nah, think you can do open dated return or something like that though..

But I guess that would complicate thing, as disney pay for your flight one way...

Ohh I see, so they pay for your flight back do they? So you only have to buy your flight out there... that's good... if i've got that right lol.

Haha, I guess you were originally blonde, yeah? :p

You pay for your flight there and they give you the money back for it in your last paycheck...
