Call out to people on the 29th July Gatwick Flight BA2037 (and Pippa)

Hey Guys,

Now we've established who's going on the 29th July (and it looks like a really great group of people), I wondered who was sharing this flight. It leaves from Gatwick at 11.05am and lands at 15.20. It would be really great if we could all meet up at the airport. Tino told me Pippa is on a flight just behind ours by about ten minutes so it would be nice to wait and then all travel onwards together.

So, who's flying on this flight?

 

hey im on that flight! im with ya, think its a good idea to meet at the airport and make our way to vista together. lauren and andy were sayin we should try and get seated together cos we can prebook!

 

yeh. we cn check-in 24 hours befopre our flight online. u cn print your boarding pass too think. im not sure. if we dnt get seated near each other, we'll be running up and down the plane... nt a gd idea 28000 feet above land..... wohooo!

 

Apparantly, it costs fifty or sixty bucks (that's right, I said bucks! Check it out, I'm turning Yankie already!), anyway, it costs $50-$60 for a taxi from the airport to Vista which sounds alot but split between all of us, will end up quite cheap. The taxis out there are mini vans so they'll be plenty of room. Plus, I'm sure they'd love to have us arrive altogether. It'll make their lives alot easier.

It's a brilliant idea if we could all prebook and sit together.

Oooohh, look at this. I got it off the BA website. We're allowed to take bags up to 32KG without charge until November. Good to know, I guess.

In accordance with the UK Health and Safety Executive’s recommendation on the maximum weight for checked baggage, British Airways has introduced a limit of 23kg (51lbs) for any single checked bag as part of your free baggage allowance.

We understand that there are times when you will need to exceed this limit. Therefore, from November 2008, a flat fee of £25 GBP will be applied to bags weighing more than 23kg (51lbs). This charge is to cover the additional handling that bags weighing over 23kg (51lbs) can attract.

Until this charge is implemented, we will continue to accept a single piece of baggage weighing up to 32kg (70lbs) without charge.

Please note that we will not accept a bag heavier than 32kg (70lbs) as checked baggage.

sooo is everyone havin a window seat then? as long as i am not on an aisle seat i will be fine i think. i dont like it when the trolley women come round with dinner and then BAM! they hit you on the elbow with the trolley.painfull times!
yeah pippa we will all ahve to sort out where to meet you at the airport as it sounds like theres quite a few levels and terminals to this place.

Im on this one too!!! Yeh the airport is not the smallest but there are quite a few obvious places 2 meet. damn cant bellieve everyone has bagged the window seat! I know what you mean about the trolley - every time, my elbows go thro so much trauma!!

 

All I can remember of Orlando airport is it had conveyer belts and pretty glass ornamental windows.
