I dont know if anyone could help me with this, if you could that would be great...I want to buy a car when Im down there (so I can drive back to Canada as well as more convient for transportation while and disney, and of course....coco beach road trips. How much is insurance in the states typically? plus is there any dealerships that give CM's discounts? or are there a lot of CM who sell thier cars at the end of thier program? My dream is a sebring convertable for some reason, and I know that there is one waiting for me in Florida some where! -greg
Can't help you with any of the questions my friend but a drop top Sebring sounds sweet! Should all go well & I'm Disney bound, I have my heart set on a convertable Mitsubishi Eclipse!
Hi buddy! I'll be there in a dew days and I worked all the winter to save money for the car and trips. You can check insurance at this website. http://www.carinsurance.com/ people use to sell it...in particular members from europe and asia. (i'm a US cars lover, but bring it to italy would be too expensive). There are no discount for cast members. see you soon and check cars here http://www.autotrader.com/ Bye...
I have researched it, car insurance is quie expensive compared to what i pay now, though i do drive a 19year old vauxhall nova so it wasn't going to be that expensive anyway. Plus you have to pay extra to be insured against uninsured drivers if that makes sense. I'm gunna buy a VW convertable beetle cause i always thought it was an ace car, but my parents want me to buy a convertable mustage, which is better cause im a girl who is clueless about cars!! Seriously i judge them on color!! lol
Jesus, id love to have the cash to spend on a car. Im hoping to have enough to buy a beach buggy or jeep soft top. Seriously doubt I will though. Plus the hassle of selling it after a year! You could stand to lose a lot of money. Or worst case scenario, you don't sell it. Il set my budget at $3000 if I can afford it Was also thinking of buying a bike instead. It will get me from a-b and is cheaper to run and buy. Plus its "open top" ;D
buying the car is not the problem....the problem is having enough money to sustain it¡¡¡¡ I want to know how much do i need to budget for insurance¡¡¡ does anyone knows??? and also, with gas prices going up, will we be able to afford gas with our disney salaries¡¡¡
petrol is really cheap over there compared to england, at the moment it costs me about$90 to fill up and i only have a small 1 litre car!!! insurance is gunna cost you though
When I was out there in march, my rental car was a H3 Hummer which only got me about 16 MPG but as gas is so cheap it still cost me less to get to get around than it does over here!
Well in mexico gas is really cheap compared to US¡¡¡¡ A liter in Mexico goes for 0.8 usd cents¡¡
i cant believe how cheap that is, in england we are paying around $9 a gallon so i think you will be fine!!!
And going up every day it seems! I remember when I was 17 & passed my test it was about 49p a litre. 10 years later it has more than doubled! Damn Iraq wars or whatever causes these things!
I saved money all the time for the car in the USA and the insurance! But i'm a car - fanatic...so I may be a little strange. Gas in abnormal in USA..almost 4$ a gallon. so 1 dollar/litre. In italy we pay 1.55 euros/litre (2.25USD/litre) i'm planning to buy a car with an avarage fuel economy of 20 mpg
