I haven't been paying as much attention to some things as i could have, so does anyone know about medical insurance? Will buying travel insurance for 3 months from the bank suffice? ???
i was told we needed 4 months insurance as the insurance starts the start of the 3rd month or so ur there eg i go june 21st, my disney insurance kicks in oct 1st, so in order 2 b covered *its just over 3 months* i need 4 months of insurance! xxxx
Yeah I was told the same thing - it's in the info as well I think!! I'm not sure if travel insurance covers it or not - I'm going to get mine from the leaflet sent from yummy I think.
Hey Katie... I posted about this on another thread (June Cdns FYI) to see what other Cdns had for the first 4 months. Here's what I got: The one that is in the disney package (that us poor June people won't get until May ) it has Gateway listed as what disney recommends. There was at least one person that said they were really expensive. Their website is www.gatewayplans.com/disney. A couple other people got plans from London Drugs and RBC. Sandra
i havent sorted out my insurance yet- flying out may31st and i cant remember did i have to get my own or will yummy jobs arrange it for me>>>>>?????? Ive been trying yummy jobs for ages on the email and phone and havent got anyreply as of yet- i havent even sent away my contract cos ive been in hospital ill and i just cant seam to contact anyone! how frustrating!!!! Shane
Shane you have to sort it yourself! You'll need cover for the first 4 (i think) months. Disney recommends using Gateway- I have no idea about them- but once they've given you a policy they fax it all to Disney and everything for you. Charlotte x
yeah charlie is right shane, but then ur on the college prog so i think u do have 2 cover the length of ur contract yourself!!! and the gateway address is the one recommended! although id double check with uni, cos i found out im covered by my unis insurance! xxx
yea i just checked with uni - i have to arrange my own cover - still cant get throu 2 yummy jobs!!!! frustration!!!lol
