    Hey there!
Can anyone somewhat describe what the bedrooms are like?
What are the options for roommates? Like can you get single rooms or are they all doubles and triples?
Are they twin beds? Are there night stands? What is closet space like? etc.

    Thanks guys :)

Hey usually its 2 people in one room, the rooms are a fair size, two single beds, usually either side of the room, you get like a large chest of drawers, a bed table, then theres a walk in wardrobe which is a good size aswel. In vista one bedroom has an ensuite, and then a seperate bathroom.

I didn't see the commons apartments but i think there better than visas, cas vista is quite old whereas the commons is new and bcause ppl r there longer, they give better acomodation. But even vista is not that bad, mst uni halls in the UK are shit, so i thought the vista apartments wer gd

There are usually three washers and three dryers on the ground floor of each block of apartments. You have to pay for a card ($3 when I was there) to be able to put money on. I know you can get the $3 back by sending off the card, but I wasn't bothered about losing £1.50 LOL

    Ok, thanks. ;D

Another question - do you have to pay to use the wireless Internet, or the computers in the labs?

No u dont pay for the internet, but sometimes u'll find its abit slow because its shared throughout the whole complex. But the internet in the clubhouses is reasonable and its all free

Im not sure about Chatham and commons, but vista had like a reception area, where you could sort out posting stuff, getin parcels, you can rent things for free like, vacuum cleaner, iron, tennis rackets ect. And then thers the disney learing centre where you can go on the internet or "the hub" to get your work timetable, and you can rent DVDs 4 free, which we tuk full advantage of! I imagine chatham and the commons hav the same typ of thng.

wat about in ur rooms, is there some sort of secure place your can lock valuables (i.e. things you 100% need such as pasports and cash/cards ect. and other things you are prob gonna wanna take like a laptop or camera)? or is it a case of "effective use of socks and jocks"?

the internet is included in you rent but you have to be patient as it is very slow, so don't plan on downloading anything. swith regards to valuables there are lockers in your closet but you need to provide your own lock, and at vista at least its costs $1 to use the washer per load and $1 for 60 min in the tumble dryer

On the whole, I think I'd rather go on rides in the park, but whatever makes people happy. Is there a clothesline if we choose not to take the drier option?
