I heard that we have to buy our own sheets and stuff... but do we also have to bring our own pillows and douvet?

Like.. do we have to buy everything?

If so, is it better to just go Wal-Mart when you get there and buy some cheap stuff?

I took a duvet with me, and a good thing too as it was freezing when we got there (like hat and scarf freezing) and my roomates froze because they had only sheets, and I was snug and warm. I'd advise to take one as they aren't all that cheap in Walmart...not as cheap as Tescos anyway. All you have to do is stick in in a bin bag and then suck all the air out before you shut the case for the last time.

Oh and maybe take a sheet with you.

But for everything else, wait until you get there

yeah, I'm taking stuff with me, including pillows. mainly using it as padding in my suitcase though. on the way back after a year I'll be padding with everything I've bought though!

I didn't think they were to expensive at walmart, it saved taking up the room in my suitcase anyway!

But yeah, you have to buy all your bedding, they provide you with nothing to do with that! :-\

buy a cheap one from Instore (Poundstretcher) or Ikea.

They come wrapped up really tight and small. The only thing i can think to compair them to is a rolled up newspaper, one of the sunday ones (the times or guardian) they are about that size and only cost about £5.

You can donate them at the end of your program except i took mine home on the plane :) Slept the whole way from Orlando to Chicago and then Chicago to Glasgow, well i'd had no sleep for the previous three days.

    Your bed comes with nothing?!
It would take up like half a suitcase to take sheets and duvet (let alone a pillow) lol! :p

i think a really small, cheap sleeping bag sounds like a good idea for the first couple of nights. and it'll do if anyone sleeps over.

I've always preferred the UK duvets over the US duvets, I guess its just what I'm used to as well as pillows. I'd take my own but like an earler poster said, stick them in a bin bag and vacu-seal them, takes up like 90% less room.

LOL try and get to know someone who will be out there when you are...that way they can get bed stuff for you so you don't have to worry about it on the first night!

Right who's going to already be there on nov 27th? hehe

I've got a sleeping bag that I am taking and I can probably do without a pillow for 1 night but if not I'll stuff my sleeping bag cover with clothes and use that...oh and I'm taking a sheet with me....I just hope they are all standard sizes world wide coz I really dont have a clue

Sadly they're not. However, when you get your welcome package in the post from Disney (if you haven't already) it should have all the sizes in there.
