    Hey Aussie Gal!
I don't really have a blog yet, but I'm working on it. Uni is getting in the way though. (I too am very happy about the winter/costume thing)

Hey Steve! Good to hear from you too. I'm sorry if I excluded Kiwis in my title, us southern pacific nations should stick together.
Where do you have to go for your interview with the visa people? I have to fly to Sydney, which is uber far away.

    Hey Loz,

LOL thats quite OK. Yeah I agree about the sticking together bit totally.

Anyway about the visa we do it in Auckland. And since I live in Auckland, dont have to do any travelling. At the moment I am waiting for the DS2019 form from Disney. Will apply for Visa interview after that.

When are you travelling to Disney? Are you planning to do any travel before, in between or after the program?

    Cheers

    Steve

    Hey Steve.
Aren't you lucky to have a consulate near you? Sigh, anyway, I've got to go pick up my form too, it's wating in my PO box. I probably won't travel too much before hand, especially since my exams only finish 3 days before I start.
After, I hope to visit my best friend from high school. She lives in Kentucky, which is apparently 16 hours away from Orlando. Either big drive, or expensive flight...
    Do you have any plans?

    Hey Lauren,

My sister Tina and I are from SA and we have to fly to Melbourne in September to get our visas done!! Domestic flights are expensive at the moment as well!

    Hey Loz,

I plan to visit San Fran and Atlanta before reaching Orlando for a couple of days each. Have friends there.

And maybe travel around the US a bit in between/after the program depending on the availability of time and money. Lol.

    Cheers

You should go to the Coke museum in Atlanta Steve. :p

I hope my passport doesn't take too long so that I can book the visa interview for before exams.
Anybody know if it's quick to get an interview, or if there's like a waiting list?

    Bryce

PS - Hi Lauren, I'm another Kiwi from Christchurch doing the summer programme. ;D

HOW ARE WE GOING TO CELEBRATE OZ DAY AND GET THE JJJ HOTTEST 100?

    Hey Guys,

All getting very exciting now...just wondering if you guys had thought about celebrating Australia day on Jan 25th-26th and how are we going to get the hottest 100?!?

I think we should do something...cultural pride...maybe a game of Aussie Rules Footy (not that I understand the rules or can actually kick the ball)?

BTW My name is Carmen and I'm from rAdelaide!

    Hi Carmen,

    What is the Hottest 100?

    Bryce,

I'm guessing that Carmen is talking about Triple J (a radio station) who count down the hottest 100 songs over the Australia Day break. Might be a case of trying to tune in online or something!

    Hey Bryce,

It didn't take too long to get the form after we sent the photocopy of passport photo - maybe a week or a little more than a week. We've booked our interviews, gotta go to Melbourne in 3 weeks.

Hey Bryce, Sista Act, Steve and everyone else.
I've just finished booking my appointment online. It was pretty quick for the Sydney one, but spaces are going fast.
I didn't even think about Australia day! We are going to have to show a lot of national pride. I'm talking bbqs, football, the works!

Hi all, just registered here, great idea the "reply all" emails were getting a bit much.

My name is Lisa, I'm from Adelaide, I'll be in Disneyland for the summer (hmm our summer). I'm going to Melbourne to get my vis sorted...not the simplest process...im still not sure that Ive got all the right paper work to take with me!

I can't wait to get over there - pleanty if uni work to do in the meantime! Celebrating Australia day is a must...will have to pull out the vegimite and cadburry chocolate!

I'm planning on traveling after work, my partner is coming over and were going aroud together. STA travel can do some great deals for students, if anyone is looking...
