any examples of questions would be great guys as im very aware of ebing interviewed in a group and would like to be a bit more prepared for whats goin to be fired at me thanks guys and gals xxx
it depends on your country, some are individual, some are not. The questions depend on your role, my interview started with the other girl, whose first role choice was full service f & b. She was asked a couple of questions, then I was asked a couple of questions, (ie. what made you want to apply, how did you hear about it, do you think you could handle living with a bunch of other girls, have you ever lived away from home before) then it moved into role specific questions, again her first, then me (how much experience do you have, how do you think that experience would help you, how would you deal with difficult guests, how would you deal with a confining costume, heavy head, what would you do if a child was scared to approach you, what kind of dance and theatre experience do you have, etc) and then she asked if we had any questions. Hope that helps...
I said I would get down on their level and play peek a boo or hide from them behind their parents, or if that didn't work, make fun of the parents by stealing their hats or playing with the parents-- kids are less intimidated by someone their parents accept.
In Canada the CRP ones were set up like they were in pairs but when you walked in it was individual with one on one side of the room and one on the other. For the CRP they will ask you things like what you like about your country. What you would tell little kids about your country, where you would tell someone to go who has never been to your country. Then they ask you about specific things they will look at your resume and pick out a few jobs, or your schooling and ask you to tell them about them. (Hint, even if you had a horrible time at any of them, look at the good points. You tell them you hated your last job you probably wont be looked at as an enthusiastic person.) Then they will also look at your choices and as you a scenario like question. (For example if a guest was unhappy with their food and brought it back to you what would you do.) And sometimes they ask you fun questions too. I heard a few people were asked what their favorite Disney character was. And things like that. Despite all the questions it is more relaxed then a normal interview. More like a chat with someone who just wants to get to know you better.
At my face to Face for the Canada Pavillion they asked: Why do you want a job with Disney? What is your favourite character? What do you like to do in your spare time? Other than the attractions, what is your favourite thing to do at Walt Disney World? They also asked a few specific questions about previous jobs and schooling. just have fun and SMILE
I got things like 'What did you enjoy most about your program? What was the hardest thing to overcome? How did you find living with however many people? etc etc etc' I also got... 'What makes you proud of Britain?' I was stumped :-\
ICP questions are based around motiveation, experienc and living... there was a post somewhere that was probably every single qestion they could ask you. ill try to find it
