art lovers

Hi,

Anyone else interested in art?or taking any courses?Im currently at Swansea studying illustration,interested in childrens books or magazine work (especially disney magazines)

I did Art and design a level - tho not done much since! Tho did make leaving cards whenever someonbe left (which was like every week!) at my summer job in France...

Hey Gals,

I am into, a sort of art too. I studied the first term of Architecture, but drop it.
But I got monocronatic and colour drawing lessons there.
I have always been into drawing and desiging.
And I think I will do Fashion Design Bachelor after Disney.

Tinkerbell, that's so cool! I'm into art as well, I was studying design in University but shifted over to filmmaking for the time being. I want to go sketching animals in animal kingdom, our zoo really sucks here. I plan on bringing my art stuff with me, paints and such. We'll have to have a little art party

Hey - I studyied Community Arts here in Glasgow and love working with children drawing, painting, just generally getting your hands messy!! I'm just a big kid when it comes to Art!! I worked with children in a really deprived area here in Glasgow - we made a Mural. On the side of thier Nursery!! It was amazing!!


It didnt look as good as this mural but at least we had loads of fun! I cant wait for Kidcot!!x

I have also done some murals, one in a school
and one on my bedroom's ceiling, just that I havent got a pic of that rite now.
But I will surely post one.

Yeah it would be cool just to make nice sketches, and painting , and gettin relaxed.
Hey have u got days when everything u try to draw doesnt come out??

hey rob! i sure do have days when my pics dont work out the way I want them to,infact a project Im doing at the moment ,I couldnt get started I had a very bad art Block!!!! :'(

It would be great for us all to get together and do some doodles!!!

Definitely u must go to St. Petersburg...

If u like art, u must go to Dali's Museum.. is not to far.. just take the I-4 west 'til Tampa and the to the south...

believe me is simply incredible to be in there... and remember.. if u are Student.. don[t forget your School or University ID you'll get discounts\\\\

or if u like Theatre.. u must go to Bob Carr center.. is next to the TD Waterhouse (orlando magic arena).. there's a special arts groups who take broadway plays to Orlando... (you can check it at ticketmaster)

i saw The producers and Cats.. the original broadway plays.. or u can check at the South Florida University.. they have real good plays and art expositions.. is far away from the commons but it worths it

if u go to Dowtown Orlando u'll find museums and the library woowww is great is close to lake Eola.. u can go and spend the whole day next to the lake it's relaxing and u can borrow books with your florida ID

i must admit not good at art...did a level but didnt like it so dropped out!

but i love theatre. seen cats three times! any musuicals i love!

one of the main reasons i ws at stage school was as i wnted to do musical theatre!

Hello my little art friends I've been checking into open studio life drawing classes, since I attend them here in my city. I found a school called the Crealdé school of art in Winter park. I'm not sure how far away from orlando that is. They have an open studio drop-in type program. The area looks so gorgeous! Just another idea for others who like to draw like myself.

I might go to the Dali musuem sometime Baruch thanks for the tip i like his art work - might be something to do if i get bored of the parks.

Carol - i think Kid Cot will be fun too! Can just see myself if its quiet making my own mask - haha!

yeah and marie, i remember listing them 2 u the other day, only 7 essays of 2000 - 4000 words, plus 2 presentations all done for 20th may, then one exam, oh the fun!

Whats with these long essays mine are all about that length too - u poor thing Sara! Got 4 exams, 2 presentations, 4 essays by mid may. So glad i get a month off to recover b4 disney!
Cant wait to be free of it all!
