Arriving in magic world on June, 7! (China Pavilion)

Hello guys,

my name is Huizi and i'll be in Orlando in less than 2 months! Uber-excited! ;D
I'll be working in China pavilion and my position is in Attraction. Can't wait to meet you all!

While I'm getting ready to set off, just have a few questions that I hope can get some help here....

1. Which apartment will I be living in? (according to my position, also I still got 3 months to be 21 when I arrive there)

2. What do you suggest i should bring for the apartment(like quilt, sheets, and stuff)? I know I could probably get everything from the local Walmart, but still wanna double check before I go for a year.

3. I love swimming so i'm kinda hoping there is a swimming pool for the staff near where I live?

4. Right now I'm taking driving lessons in China, cos I wanna be able to drive in the US, but what kind of test will i need to take to transform my driving license into an American one? Also how much does it cost to get a cheap 2nd hand car in general? or would that be totally unnecessary?

5. If anyone's in attraction in China Pavilion or knows anything about my position and can give me some advice before i go, please let me know, I just wanna be somehow prepared for it... thank you so much! )

 

I can answer u some of ur question, im Manuel one of ur arrival buddies

Q1- the appt its something u know the same day we arrive, if u think of a wellness appt, dont worry the worst could happen its that take that 3 months in the wellness and then have to change to another.

Q2- i think the best its to buy all in the local wal mart, cause it takes to much space for the luggage

Q3- all appt complex have swimming pool, but if u r looking for an olympic size pool, i dont have really and aswer, but a question, i can swim but im not the best and i want to perfect my croll swimming cause im wanna entrer to a traithlon, could u help me with that????

Q4- i dont have and idea, as far as i know, u can take an international driver license and thats all, or at least in mexico u can do that

and manual, i wish i'm good enough to teach you swim.... but actually i only been swimming for a couple of months and just starting to like it, so i'm hoping i could get better if there's a swimming pool near the house i'll definitely go all the time!

Hey Carlotta, my interview was in march 2010, i waited about 2 months for my result, then they told me i'm accepted but i gotta wait for another year to attend my program....so patience is the key to this big waiting game la
