Theres me thinking i had no need to try my suit on yet.....everything will be fine!

Just popped it on...didnt even get half way there! Couldnt get the buttons within about an inch of eachother on the trousers, and the jacket looked like a wetsuit on me. I bought the suit last year, and it wasnt cheap. Bu**er! (and that isnt supposed to say butter!)

Now...i have 2 options, either to book some very quick liposuction...or to venture down to Matalan on Friday?! ??? I'll go with the latter.

What a last minute dissapointment...thought my weight was fine.....time to join the gym. :-[

Hey guys don't stress!!!! well this is how i lost a bit of weight, once i found out I had the job back in March I knew I needed to save up every penny, so rather than going out every thurs, fri and sat night - I stayed in!!!!! wow that was hard to say hehe, or should I say I went out every now and then. Ok getting bk to the subject as i stayed in most weekends and cut down on the alcohol (i'm not a alco but like a drink or 2 on a night out)
Jess you know where I'm from and a lot of lassed tend to drink larger (pints) so I cut that out and lost over a stone - go me!!!!!

So I killed 2 birds with one stone, saved some money and lost a bit of weight while doing it.

Now thats a good idea Helen...the alcohol isn't cheap down here so by avoiding it i am sure i can save lots.

    Cheers for the advice! ;D

I am not really worried about how much i weight now its more the worry about how much i gonna gain if i get the job. i heard that many of my friends who went for a couple of month to the us gained weight real fast. guess i wont get around some late night or early morning sessions in the gym over there

Tess I think for the start everyone will be eating out but once the money starts to run out and the wages are not the best think everyone will have to learn how to cook (me for 1 ;) lol)

Marie, hey I work in Stockton!!!!!!

I swear to Mickey... If I'm lucky enough to get out there... I will *holding hand on heart* cook for my roomies and fellow brits a FULL TRADITIONAL ROAST atleast once a month complete with homemade yorkshire pudds!!! Yummy.

I love cooking... I guess it's the whole entertaining thing again... but I do find it relaxing. I also love cooking Italian food... So brace Yaself everyone if I do get to come over... Che' Wills will be in full swing!

(I guess we could alternate apartments every week - hey and it saves pennies but with the 'dining out' experience too)

    Just a thought!  :-\

If thats the case then i swear holding hand on heart to hold u too that promise, as if i’m lucky enough to be joining u out there that is one of the things I will truly miss – my mum’s weekly Sunday roast (with homemade yorkshire puddings). One question tho Will are ur yorkshire puddings the little ones or the ones that fill a whole plate like my mums?

    - Well it's personal choice, but usually do small ones (ie: Muffin Size) Although I've done what I call G.Y.P's too & load everything inside... It's no problem at all.
    - I also hope if I'm lucky enough to get to go, to treat my foreign roomies and friends to a Traditional British Sunday roast too... complete with all the trimmings.
    - Don't worry Jess... Big Brova will be there to look afta ya all (Fingers crossed anyhow), hey not forgetting our fellow Novotel Diamond Geeza who'll be in the Wellness Apt! (You know who you are!!!)

Novotel diamond geeza eh? ;)....you can all come to the wellness apts' to read me my bedtime story!!

Will is probably the best person to ask to explain a yorkshire pudding, but this page explains it all well:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yorkshire_pudding

And it is not a dessert! Although one of those with ice cream in it might taste really nice :)

..Or...if you are my mum you dont make Yorkshire Puddings......but Yorkshire Pancakes.....they have no sides!
