    Hello everyone (and Merry Christmas!)

I am looking to apply for the UK CRP this year (noticed the dedline change!) so thought I would get started on my application.

I am looking to apply with my girlfriend, and I know that we both need to complete our own applications, I was just wondering if anyone had done this before, and if you should mention it at any point on the CV or wait to see if you get an interview?

We really would love to go together.

    Any advice would be appreciated

    Thanks :)

there were couples who went out at the same time, but what i remember of what they told me, it was entirely coincidental, and Disney doesnt really take it into account-they offer each individual the job as and when they need them, business needs etc.

I'm in the same position as yoou! Me and my boyfriend are both applying.. but it will be the worst thing ever if we both get given completely different dates. What if one gets a summer 2012 start date and the other gets a summer 2013 start date? It would just be such a difficult decision to make!

ANYWAY, I wouldn't put it on your application, it might hold you back if it makes them think you aren't willing to go without your partner. But I did the ICP last year and at the face to face interview they do ask if you have any special considerations that need to be made. (For example the girl I interviewed with asked if she could make arrangements to come home for her graduation and they took that into account). So I would ask then, that's what we're going to do!
On my ICP they did take it into consideration for couples and close friends! There were a few that went out together.. but then there are only 3 or 4 different start dates for the ICP and not the space of a whole year!
Also just before you go into the interview you have a quick chat with someone from yummy to go over your application form and stuff.. (well they did for my ICP interview!) It was then that they asked me the exact dates I could do and made a note of anything I definitely couldn't do. So at that point I might also mention it to them so that they can put a note on your actual forms.

    Hope that helps a bit!
    Happy Christmas!!
    xxxx

I think it will depend on where you are applying from? If your applying from somewhere with a lot of applicants like the UK then I dont think they will take you being a couple applying into consideration - whereas if your from somewhere like Norway where they are usually desperate they are mor elikely to take you as acouple.

Have you thought about what would happen if one of you get in and one of you dont? Would you still go if you cant go together?

I know people who have been out there and had a partner at home and have made it work - I have also known people who left a partner at home and then split with them whilst out there - lots of people get into couples with people they meet out there - some of them stay together when they get back to the UK and some even have got married and are still together now.

Also take into the account that if you go out as a couple your roomies may not be too happy about sleep overs
