    Hi everyone
Just wondering what the average timeline is between sending your CV and getting to know if your off to live with the mouse!

    So far im at:
7th Oct - sent CV and got standard email reply
21st Oct - Alexis rang to organise phone interview
    24th Oct - Phone Interview

I guess its after monday that the waiting begins?!

They should let you know pretty soonish if you have a place in the f2f interviews, usually about 3 or 4 weeks afterwards, and if you get through i assume (can someone back this up?) that you will be in the February round of interviews, and if you pass that you should be getting out there some time towards the end of 2007.

I might have some info wrong - feel free to correct me!

Well I originally sent my CV in in June 2003 but was asked to resend it later on in the year as they where phone interviewing for the march/june 2004 departures and I couln't leave till july.

I resent my CV in October 2003, had a phone interview a week later, heard that I had passed that about 2 weeks later and that I had got through to the February/March interviews.

Im leaving on December 6th so ive had quite a long wait but im sure it's worth it ;D

Id imagine if you get through to the february/march interviews then you will be more than likley to leave in September or December, or if you get waitlisted you could get out there anytime after your face to face if someone else drops out

I didn't get in the first time I applied, so it actually took me two years.

August 2001 - Sent resume for first time
January 2002 - Phone chat (won't call it an interview as she only asked three yes/no questions!)
February 2002 - In person interview with the Cast-a-way crew
March 2002 - In person interview with the Disney reps
April 2002 - Found out I was being considered, then a few days later found out I had been waitlisted
Summer 2002 - Called Cast-a-way to go to west coast interviews in the fall (reapplied)
October 2002 - Flew out to Vancouver for in person interview with the Disney reps
December 2002 - Found out I was being considered
January 25th, 2003 - Got "the call" with my leaving date
    August 6th, 2003 - Arrived in Orlando!!!!
July 31st, 2004 - Tearful goodbye and flight home.

Took forever, but was well worth the wait and would do it all over again in a second!!! Be patient. Your time will come and you'll feel like you waited forever to get there and it will be over in the blink of an eye.

    Shan

  9. oooh you had two face to face interviews? I didn't know we did Cast-a-way and then one with Disney Reps! Do they still do this, it's the first I've heard of it?

shannybunany, you did have to wait a long time! I'm glad it was more than worth the wait ;D

Just thought i'd post here and say I guess i'll have all this waiting to do as well!

I am going to apply very shortly! I finish University around July next year, so I am really hoping to take part in the Cultural Representation Program after I graduate! I am a massive Disney Fan, visited Disneyland, Anaheim for the first time this year for the 50th Anniversary, and a regular visitor to Disneyland Resort Paris, usually about 4 trips per year! Not been to WDW since '93 unfortunately, but this would certainly change that :)

Should be around here a bit from now on :) look forward to getting to know you all better :)

    Look forward to talking more!

    :) :) :) Hi y'all :) :) :)

I flumped it last year due to unforseen personal reasons, so I jumped back on the horse and applied again... Think I emailed my CV in November last year again, then I had my phone interview with Alexis bless her - she's sooooo nice, and now I'm just waiting with the rest of you guys for the F2F interviews on November 12th in London aaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggghhhhhhhhh!!! I still need to sort out some accomodation for stop over in london yet, and hopefully I'll meet up with ya all at TGI's in Covent Garden if that's ok??? ::)

Well... Good luck to everyone else who's in the process... It'll be worth it!!

    Hi Tessa,

No I am in the UK, But Eurostar has made Europe a lot smaller :) I have a Passeport Annuel Dream, and tend to get my moneys worth out of it! Biggest expense is usually accomodation, but I stay in the on site Holiday Inn which is great value for money, hence why I can go so often :)
