I have received a rejected email from disney today. :'( I have well prepared and tried my best in the interview. I suppose my perofrmance is quite well. So, can I ask for appeal against the results. Can I apply the international program again? I wanna go with my classmates.
I think the only thing you can do is apply again for the next round of hiring? I am not sure though, you can give it a try! here's wishing you luck!!
i dont think you can appeal agains the results. you can reapply but im not sure if you have to leave a set amount of time between applications or not. the best thing to do is to contact the recruitment people for your country and ask them about reapplying and also to see if you can do a shorter programme or something if you failed to get onto the year long
Yeah there's not much you can do to appeal, but as far as I know since you wern't successful you should have no problems re-applying next round (most of the restrictions have to do with Visa issues, or basically to give other people a chance to go to Florida). Both of those are generally if you're going a 2nd time. If you're from the UK applying for the Cultural Rep program there was quite a few posts on here 6 months ago talking about how there was no spots available in 2007, but obviously some freed up since there was interviews and people got places. If thats the program you applyed for that could be part of the reason for your rejection, and as such you should try again next time.
aaw hun i'm sorry oyu didn't get in, esp when you felt so good about the interview. don't fret though. I know of a few people who have been rejected and are PERfect for disney, or that were rejected and reapplied anyway and are there in Florida now! I do'nt think you can appeal against it I'm afraid. But its always worth emailing them and asking why you didn't get through the interview...such as ask your weaknesses etc.. Even if it is no good at all hearing them and that they're false, it means you've already got a foot in the door for another interview cos you can tell them how dissapointed you are and that you're going to start preparing for another interview right now etc..which makes you look dedicated, enthusiastic and ready to bounce back. disney can't get rid of you that easily! good luck
Actually, I am a student from Hong Kong. Last time, I applied the ICP through my school. So I don't know how to apply individual. Can apply this progrom on my own without passing through the school? I want to go to disney on early June.
Hey Felix, Since the only regional recruiter in Asia is for Japan (according to the website, http://www.disney.go.com/DisneyCareers/wdwcareers/international/apply.html) than you would have to go through this general recruiter which is: Disney Worldwide Services, Inc. International Recruitment Post Office Box 10090 Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830-0090 Fax Number: 407-828-3330 I applied without the help of my school, and most people (from my understanding) went through thier regional recruiters too, all you have to do is send them your resume (or CV) and they will inform you with what happens next.
